i rarely leave a review (i mean, who has that kind of time???)- it either has to be really bad or really good, and i am happy to say this one is really GREAT!! i hadn't heard of this guy until this book popped up on a search, and i just received it so haven't actually made any of the recipes; however, even if i have to replace the cake with my own recipe (although these look good), the ideas in this book alone are worth it- it's just stunning!!! so creative and beautiful, i can not wait to get started!! the only thing i would say, most of the measurements are in weights, so i'll have to convert, but easy enough, and don't let that stop you, this book is fabulous!!!!

This book is incredible, I have never been able to bake macarons (though I've tried a hundred times) Nick Makrides put in a cheat sheet for those cookies, and I can finally make them! Super creative flavor and decoration ideas, definitely a must have for every baker!

I own A LOT of cookbooks, and this is my favorite to date! Photography is beautiful. It is well written. Recipes are amazing and tons of helpful tips. Nick’s creativity is over the top and this book showcases that! A great gift for any baker in your life. Some of the recipes are dupes from what you can already find online from him, but still, this book is so pretty it is worth having a hard copy! And I like having a hard copy in the kitchen anyways so I don’t get my phone/laptop covered in flour.

Wife's review:This book has EVERYTHING you could want from the Scran Line's Master of Macarons! Gorgeous images, detailed instructions, and a surprising number of recipes!Was a bit frustrated that my book arrived with a crease in the cover (from it being crammed into the mailbox -- Amazon's & delivery person's fault, not the book's)...... BUT I plan to put many MORE creases in the cover as I try out these aaah-MAY-zing recipes!!!Just flipping through the pages, there are also some fun extras you won't find online. I look forward to exploring further!

I am a big fan of The Scran Line on IG, and it inspired my desire to learn to bake. I love this book, and I'm happy I supported his effort. BUT - I was a little disappointed when I started seeing many recipes that looked familiar and realized many of these are already on his blog. I was thinking they would've all been original recipes that hadn't already been posted. So... Knowing that... still buy this book, support the people and accounts you love!

It is put together nicely. It gives you recipes, step by step directions and pictures. I cannot wait to try these recipes! I already follow The Scran Line on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube and I was so excited when it was announced that a book was being published. How can you not want all his awesome recipes? If you love to bake like I do I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed!!

Fantastic book! Love it all. Very well put together and very different from any other recipe books I’ve bought in the past.

I think bakers of all skill levels would enjoy this cook book.I'll be honest I haven't made any of the recipes yet but I've read thought the book and it is beautiful.It teaches you different techniques, icing recipes, cake recipes, tools you may need everything!

Great Recipe Book! Covers the basics and then uses those to create some wonderful things! Being able to watch the videos on YouTube is a God Send for an amateur baker 👨‍🍳
