mCover iPearl Hard Shell Case for 15.6" Dell XPS 15 9550, Precision 5510 Series Laptop Computer (Clear)

This is an awsome product. It perfectly fits on my dell xps 9560 laptop..when I install this cover on my laptop , no additional projections was seen because of this. As it is transparent, the true color of laptop is seen ouside.Since my laptop has a CNCmachines body, I can even enjoy the beautyof this aluminium finish even if I cover it with this because of the transperency of this product. it is Also no restriction in flipping the the laptop screen have been felt.

This cover does not fit my laptop (Dell XPS15 9570) although in the product image they list 9570 as one of the compatible laptops. The measurements are not precise. The left side hooks are in place while the right side ones are out of its place. I do not recommend this product.

It is difficult to find cases for Dell laptops and this one will barely do the job. It does not fit well onto the laptop, the cut out of the case is not great and leaves a gap on the bottom side of the laptop when you try to snap it into position. The clips on the case which is supposed to clip onto the laptop has left a permanent mark on the plastic edge of the laptop. Would not recommend for Dell users.

It snaps with a loud click every time I unfold my laptop cos the top shell's slightly stuck with the laptop corner.Have been using it for a year now, has not damaged my laptop yet so I guess it's not a big issue.

The fit isn't perfect.It took significant effort to get one half of the shelm somewhat securely on my laptop.
