LED Stick Figure Costume - BLUE

I bought this costume for my 8 year old son. He was SO excited when it arrived - we had already picked up sweat pants and a hoodie so we would be ready when it got here. We immediately opened the box and checked it out. One of the legs had a bad connection and the other strips would cut off as soon as I plugged that leg piece in. We still had plenty of time so I sent an email over to the customer service team at Inspired LED figuring they could at least give me some tips on fixing that one piece. I was surprised when within one hour of my email being sent I had a voice mail message from Erica at Inspired LED. As soon I was able to call back she said a replacement would be in the mail - not just that one piece either - a whole new set just to make sure the lights all matched.We just returned from Trick-or-Treating and my son is on cloud 9! He was the hit of the neighborhood! Everyone asked how we did it and commented about how cool it was. He thinks he is famous!Overall, great product and SUPERB customer service!!

Well after less than an hour the left arm inexplicably went dead. Fortunately I had enough left over from the body to reconfigure myself. Problem though since it's an adhesive I spent the next three hours trying not to move or constantly grabbing drooping arms/legs/head/etc. in order to keep things in some recognizable form.I saw another company that sold something similar that's based on clips instead of an adhesive strip that doesn't really work well with body movements.On the plus side as I was walking around at night I got a lot of compliments. I freaked a dog out that was heading towards me with his owners. By the time they got close the dog was walking in the street, straining the leash as he tried to figure out what was coming towards him.

I ordered the LED Stick Figure Costume for my son for Halloween 2015. The costume arrived and (with the YouTube video) was really easy to put together. When we finally put it on my son, he was absolutely THRILLED! The costume is AWESOME!!! My son was super excited to wear it to his school's halloween party on Friday night, October 30th. Well, let's just say the party did not go as planned. About 30 minutes into the party, a child jealous of my son's costume tackled him. When he was tackled, one of the cables from the costume was lost (the party was outside). My son, who is nine, was sobbing he was so upset and while several of his friends and parents of his friend tried to help us find the wire, we had no luck. He said that Halloween was ruined and that he was not going to go out trick-or-treating the next day because his costume was ruined (without the wire, the cosume would not light up). I had no idea what to do, so in a desparate attempt to resolve the issue, at 8:00pm on Friday night (yes, the day before Halloween), I called Inspired LED. Hazel answered the phone, heard my story, put me on hold and when she came back on the phone told me that they would over night express mail me the missing wire (at a signficantly reduced cost)! Hazel assured me that the missing wire would arrive before noon on Halloween day and she was right!!! By 10:0am Halloween day (only 14 hours later!!!), the wire arrived!!! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I would without hesitation recommend Inspired LED for ANY of your LED projects or for a fun Halloween costume! Inspired LED is a rare find -- the perfect combination of high quality product with exceptional customer service! Thank you Inspired LED for all of your help! You are the BEST!!!

The idea of the costume is a wonderful one. This kit was expensive for what it delivered. The 3M tape did not hold the light strips on the costume at all, we had to use a ton of tape to help. After just wearing this on Halloween night only, multiple parts did not light anymore. Even a little flexing of the knees for walking and turning head, put creases on the light strip and it broke.We had a ton of compliments on the costume itself but luckily it was dark and they could not see all the tape holding things on.Just a small detail that doesn't have input on my rating was-if I spent as much money as I did, I do not want to run out and get an embroidery hoop as well for the head, just include a plastic hoop in the costume kit.

I bought this for my 9 year old son for Halloween. As the instructions stated it was only good for one use I tested the lights to make sure they all worked and waited till Halloween to put it together. The instructions were useful and the costume went together as it should. When it was finished it looked great. However, ten minutes into trick or treating both legs stopped working from the knee down. Another ten minutes passed and only a short strip of light on one of the two legs remained working and both arms stopped working from the elbow down.The circuitry just isn't built in a way to withstand movement. My son ended up spending most of the evening with just his head lit up which was no costume at all. He was really disappointed. And for the price, so was I.I looked at the leftover pieces the next day to see if there was any sort of reinforcement I could have added to make it work but as far as I can tell the simple back and forth bending motion will break the wiring inside regardless of reinforcementIf you can figure a way to walk without bending anything then this costume is perfect.I gave it 2 stars because it did look great when it was first put together. However, it is NOT a costume no matter how careful you are.

Wearing time is minimal. We had them on all but 6hrs max. After 1hr my boyfriends arm went out. The making is to thin and not to pliable to bend naturally. We had lose fitting clothes so it would not put as much pressure or pull on them and it still did not help. We were able to rig it due to his mad scientist attitude but my arm broken after 2.5hrs. We went to a costume party even though we got loads of compliments because clearly its a cool costume it didn't wear the way I wished it would. I hardly ever give anything a bad rating but I feel it could be better made since Halloween is made for fun and movement.
