i purchased this for decorations for christmas with my little town and such but after making a small amount i dont think it would be right for my house as we have pets and i dont want them in it but in preschool we have sensory tables and i decided to add it to one of our sensory tables and the kids totally loved it. just one container made a really large amount. i purchased a large air tight container and look forward to seeing how long this fake snow lasts so that the kids can enjoy it as long as possible. it is a big hit in our preschool classroom. i plan on purchasing more so that when this either dries out or starts looking nasty we can replace it.

My daughter loves it. She uses it when making certain types of slime.

Understand that when you order this product you are getting 8 oz that makes 4 gallons once you add water... From the picture it looks like it says makes a gallon of snow on the packaging, and the description says instant snow 4 gallons and nowhere in the description does it say it makes 4 gallons Just Add Water kind of thing. Don't be surprised when your package comes and it's a tiny box with an 8-ounce container in it

I got this for Christmas decor and to let the kids play with. I only used 3tsp out of the container for decor and is what is shown in the picture. My kids have enjoyed building snow men with it, after they built them we popped them in the freezer to hold their shape well. We’ve only used about 1/4 of the container! I love that they will get many uses out of it. It is very easy to follow the directions and mix up, even my kids did it.

My students used this today for experimental design science. They followed the directions first to make a small amount and made observations. They massed the substance before and after and then wrote a new testable question using the material. Some added a different liquid to see what would happen. This was a hit and there was enough left over for additional experiments. The reaction happens instantly.

Some reviews were surprised they received a small container, but the description clearly states it MAKES 4 gallons of snow. That seemed like plenty of snow for me! This was purchased as a gift for a child who loves all things slime. I wasn't aware that fake snow could be used for slime, but she was very pleased with her gift.

This snow is a genius idea. It really works great. My boys were so excited when they saw the jar. It’s little but it makes a lot of snow. It’s really easy for children to make by themselves with minimum supervision and it creates hours of fun. I find the instant snow very attractive because it’s nontoxic and my children love that they can add different amounts of food coloring to change the snow’s color. It’s extremely easy to use.
