they want $30 at the oil service place to change this out. no brainer do it yourself. ave about $20

No issues with the install, but it can be a bit tricky on a jeep if you don't know what you're doing. Perfect replacement for my OEM filter for a much better price. Negative is that it is made in China.

Best filter for my Wrangler

I have used these in my Jeep JK for a while now. They fit well and seem to do a good job.

Installed on an 07 Jeep Wrangler, sorry, I forgot to snap a pic. However, you’ll just have to trust me when I say it fits/seals perfect. The rubber seal is a bit thicker than the previous unknown brand I replaced it with (previous owner installed), so it took a little bit nor force to put the clips on... but, that’s not a bad thing - just makes me feel better that it’s sealed around the perimeter.Quality seems great. I didn’t know WIX had some of their stuff made in China, but the box looks official and the filter appeared to be good quality.

Air filter for my Jeep to filter air for the engine so it can mix fuel to enter each combustion chamber then compress to be ignited from the spark plug so it will build pressure pushing the piston down and turning the crankshaft connected to the clutch and depending on the gear im in turn the driveshaft connected to the axle i am using then rotating the 38” tires to climb big rocks and stuff .

This will lubricant your cylinders and I feel it’s doing a good job.
