Product is excellent with a wide variety of colours. Only downside is sticky tape on LED strips not very strong.

Just got the LED lights just fitted them so easy to install really made up with them 👍

Item arrived promptly, but sadly that's where the good news ends. I purchased this for extra ambient lighting during a film shoot at my music studio, and expected to get use of it day to day for some time afterwards.Firstly, the self-adhesive tape would not adhere to the (clean) painted plasterboard surface it was being applied to, I think some of the adhesive was removed when the tape was "primed" by ripping off the outer blue tape / seal. It was therefore necessary to use glue to fix the strip to where it was being mounted.Secondly, the connection between the short infrared dongle / power cable and the main LED strip is very fragile and needed to be taped together to make a secure and working connection. If these two cables were not taped together the connection would keep falling apart and the unit would not work.Thirdly, the lead from the mains transformer to the infrared dongle / power cable is very short, actually less than 1m, and so severely limits your choice of placement, without a bit of extra wiring. Fortunately there was a power socket within 1m of where I wished to mount the strip.Fourthly, the strip stopped working along its full length (only the first 20 cm of the 4m would light up) only two days after first use, which I consider totally inadequate. I might have not bothered to write this review if the item had cost £3-5, but at £16 this is unacceptable. I would ask for a refund, but as the unit is not pristine I doubt it's worth the effort. It will sadly probably end up in landfill.In summary: a total waste of time, effort and money. Avoid!

Good LEDs, maybe not super good, but plenty good enough for most purposes. The waterproofing is the silicon/epoxy covering type (not a silicon jacket), so looks like it'll be pretty much impervious to water. However, the sticky backing is rubbish - it won't work in any sort of demanding environment. It's about sticky enough to stick some other double-sided tape to it though - since I did that, the strip's stayed in place very well.

Out of the box, it was exactly what I'd hoped for. Seemed decent quality considering the price and the lights were bright enough and all LEDs worked fine. Remote also worked fine and came with a CR2025 battery included.However, a couple of weeks later (and I haven't used these at all I might add - still in their coil!), and the remote absolutely will not work. I took the sheath off the connector to see what was going on. Everything was soldered well and correct, but no joy on the remote. Changed the battery, still the same issue. Nothing I do worked.I'm not going to bother asking for a refund or replacement as I've taken them apart, but yeah. I wouldn't bother with them to be honest. Spend a bit more and get higher quality lights.

These lights are great. They're super easy to set up and super easy to use. They're nice and bright, bright enough to create a nice atmosphere in the room (we put them behind our sofa to light up the whole wall). I'd say be careful when taking the strap off to get to the adhesive bit as I took it off and the adhesive actually came off oops. Overall brilliant product although the remote has to be pointing almost directly at the receiver to detect any input.

The media could not be loaded. Needed new strip light for my tv unit with mains connection. Ordered 2m which was easily cut to size and fixed in position with ease. Remote control has loads of functions (video only shows a small amount). The sensor for the remote is on a separate stalk which is ideal. These lights would be great for parties and celebrations. Very pleased with them 😊 👍
