Lift-the-Flap Questions & Answers about Growing Up

I wish this particular book was more readily available in the USA. It has some good information about boys' and girls' bodies and how they change which is written in an age appropriate way for young children to understand. We own a good number of the Usborne lift the flap books because they are educational, fun, and beautifully illustrated. One thing about this particular book that I wasn't as much of a fan of is some of the random facts included about animals. I felt that those could have been left out or included in a different book more specific to animals in lieu of other more relevant questions children may have about growing up.

very informative, rational, brief and non-judgemental approach to puberty, suitable for children to read, on their own...one small quibble: on the cover is a small picture, and the question "where do babies come from?", but there is no corresponding picture, flap or answer in the book...this is the central question an embarrassed grandparent tries to answer, and it would have been useful to have some information on the printed page, to assist...oh well, one lumbers on...on the whole, a good foundation for further discussions...

Good book. No in depth information but good basic facts and a starting point for conversations about the various subjects.

This book is very simple and straightforward, with big letters and not a lot of jargon, suitable for a young inquisitive child.

Very good book to encourage discussions with young children. I find it is very useful for my daughter to learn about growing up. It also helps to answer questions.

I’ve bought this book for my 6 & 4 yo girls as an age appropriate introduction to growing up and becoming teenagers. Something I would have liked as a child. Really great.
