No LED and quick charge too!
I bought a used car that had the cigarette lighter punched in. I dont smoke but I have a phone so this works. I bought a different one that had an LED that you could not switch off. Since the car never turns off the lighter it was always on slowly draining the battery. This was the first one I found that had no LED and as a bonus it supports Quick Charge. This works great for Qualcomm based phones and charges you phone faster for the first 50% slowing down a bit as the phone gets higher and higher. This was a bit more expensive than others but that is likely for the quick charge feature and it's well worth the money. The nut to secure the back was thick and easy to turn. The wire connections were tight and well labeled.I removed the cover since it is on my dash and dry.I will buy another one when I need it.

Fits and works so far!
Works great, No led light helped with not draining the battery. Installed on my E36, required some widening of the socket hole but that was only required of this car specifically. Overall great product!

Great option for an unlit QC3.0 port - but get your own wiring
I ordered a few of the QC3.0 USB ports and this one won out because it was unlit. Seems to work nicely. I used it in the backseat of my Mini since I didn't order the Mini storage option which includes back seat USB power. It is plastic and not aluminum like some others but I'm not sure if that is really a factor since if it has a meltdown it's dead regardless and it shouldn't be exposed and taking abuse anyhow. It takes a 1.25" hole or hole saw. As a bonus it also has a bigger nut than some of the others which was nice for installation. My only complaint is that the supplied wiring is not great (it's awful...FWIW, see a closeup in the pics) so I suggest you get your own wire and connectors. The supplied wire is super thin (maybe AWG 22 or 24) which might take the current but it's undersized IMO. The connectors are the cheapest aluminum ones I have ever seen. Competitive produces seem to come with much better wire (and at that are pre-crimped for you too). I got some AWG 18 red and black wire and used some heatshrink crimp connectors which are great fit for a car.It may not be factory but it looks good in the Mini!

Great product at a competitive price
Used this in conjunction with the install of a wireless charger auto mount for my phone in my Wrangler JK. Easy to wire to a power source and routed the wires easily under my dash area over to the left dash to the charger/mount. The charger has no lights, so pulls no current when no phone is charging,, as I have it wired directly to constant power. My phone indicates fast charging, so I guess it works as advertised! There is another connection point open, so I might even set up another wireless charger for my wife's side of the Jeep if she is a good girl.

Digital volt meter worked for about 6 months
Was easy to install and worked great for about 6 months, now the digital volt meter doesn't work. The main reason I bought this product was to constantly see what my batteries are at while camping and hooked up to solar panels. Now looking for a different one

Made my classic 1998 Ford Crown Victoria feel like a 2021 Toyota!
Buying a weak, prone-to-rapid-failure, USB cigarette lighter plug-in charger is only temporary. They'll get hot and will make you spend $5 every time to get a new one, not worth it! This wire-in, dual port USB charger was well worth it despite the decent quality plastic materials used, but not nonetheless, it does the job I need it to. I didn't have to splice in the cheaply-made supplied red and black, otherwise known as "ground and power" wires into my existing Ford factory harness. Therefore, I bought blade terminal splice connectors, spliced them into my factory harness and WALLA! I got power. I removed my factory old cigarette lighter and replaced it with this new USB charging port. It was the BEST modernization add on to a venerable Ford classic sedan. In order to make it fit, I had to bore the existing cigaratte lighter hole a little bit larger to fit in the USB charging port by way of a dremel tool that I bought at Harbor Freight for cheap.I gave it a 2 star durability as I don't know how long this cheaply made USB charging port might hold up. Also it lacks background lighting, which I had to use my factory cigarette lighting and relocate it, albeit, not the best location possible, but it is what it is.

Works well, installed in my Jeep TJ in place of cigarette lighter.
With a little bit of a mod., sing a step bit, I installed this in my Jeep TJ. It works very nicely and fast charges my phone. Now I can listen to more ZZ Top without running down my battery on the trail, hal hal hal hal!

You need to be able to use a soldring iron or use crimptool
Installed easily, I haven't used it alot yet, but so far so good. You need to be able to use a soldering tool or use a crimptool.

Using to avoid vampire drain, no LEDs!
Update: Seller could not ship replacement, issued a refund and asked me to order it again later. That's the opposite of going above and beyond. Changing my rating from 3 to 1 star, will look for alternatives. It's a dual port charger with no LEDs so great to avoid battery drain. Only one port works, caused me to almost throw away a perfectly working fan that would not work, then I switch to other port and got power! It half works right now, contacted support for warranty replacement, but due to long shipping times on first order, the season will most likely be over before the new one arrives which is very disappointing. Will update based on how they handle the replacement and how quickly or most likely slooowly gets here.

Muy recomendable
Se tiene que desbastar un poco por qué no queda solo quitando el original, pero funciona muy bien.
