Mumm's Sprouting Seeds - Broccoli Brassica Mixed Blend - 200 GR - Sprout Your Own Organic Microgreen - Easy Sprouter Kit

sprouts never brew...some sprouted..but barely.wondering if I should look elsewhere than Amazon to buy seeds...these are NOT cheap!

These seeds work great, I use 14g per 9” x 12” tray. The results pictured are after 8 days (I will harvest at day 10-11) with lights on 14-16 hours a day watering twice daily. I use soil as my medium, stacked my trays for three days, let them stretch in the dark for 2 days and have been under light for three days at the time of the picture. I do not soak my broccoli seeds as some will suggest.

Update to my intial review:I want to thank the team at Mumm's for their exceptional customer service. I had posted a review saying that I was having trouble with my sprouts and that I became sick after eating them. Mumm's reached out to me and we communicated back and forth to help me troubleshoot and understand what was happening.The resolution that we came to was that there was likely an plant ingredient (saponin) that I am intolerant to contained in the blend that I ordered. Mumm's provided me a full refund and I am very happy with our resolution and my experience with their company. They offer many kinds of different sprouts and are a local Canadian company doing great things.I would defintely recommend checking out their company if you're interested in sprouting.My initial review:I've been having a lot trouble with these particular broccoli mix sprouts. I'm using a small sprouting lid/mason jar and rising/thoroughly draining regularly. Simultaneously, I've been successfully sprouting another brand of sprouts and those have been turning out great! However, I haven't been able to get these broccoli mix sprouts to fully sprout and they smell funky (despite following the directions multiple times.) I thought it might just be the way broccoli sprouts smell and I finally tired eating some tonight. As a result, I've been very sick to my stomach. Unfortunately, I'll be throwing the remainder these sprouts out. :(

I was very excited to grow broccoli sprouts. I bought the jar and stands. Read about it and watched youtube videos. Twice I tried to grow and both times they had very few sprouts... then would start to stink. I rinsed 2-3x day. I used filtered water. I rinsed well and drained well. I put them on the counter top- I put them in the cupboard. Nothing seemed to help. Finally someone said they are likely old seeds. Very disappointed.

I've used similar seeds before. Very easy to grow. The bag they come in is very strong plastic but fragile on the seams, it arrived popped on two sides and seeds everywhere. Bad experience.

Love the sprouts. Easy to grow. Yikes is much better for broccoli sprouts than the mixed sprouts. We add these to salads, stir fry, sandwiches, etc. Very nutritious.
