Work great
An awesome product. Used these to splice some underground wires and very happy with the quality and ease of use of the product. Gives peace of mind knowing that the wires are secure and safe.

As described, very good quality, worth the money
Good quality exactly what I was looking for! I lost power on one leg going to my building. Found a bad section in the 0.4 wire 20 ft from the building underground, cut bad spot out use butt connector to reconnect. Enclosed but connector in black case with Dielectric grease in it and buried cables. Thank you very much!

Worked OK but snaps could use improvement
Accidently cut a 200amp line running out to my barn. Used these to patch in a splice. (Why someone decided to run such a line through a pasture, along side a water line, then dogleg into the barn instead of the direct route from the main panel, I will never know!)Worked well in splicing the lines, though it was a struggle to get the case to snap into place around the 4/0 lines. Ended up having to use channel locks, then taped up the cases with FlexTape to make sure they would not pop open. Reburied the line 5' down. It's been several months, with lots of rain and flood irrigation over the spot. So far the lights are still on and nothing has burnt down.

Amazing.
Gets the job done worked 2/0 and 4/0 wire. the goo gives peace of mind. there are little spots for zip ties (not sure if that’s intended or not) but they fit perfectly.Use vise grips (grip pliers) to clamp it tight and add your zip ties. Flawless Installation and performance been 3 weeks no issues with 50 amp service going through it.Will purchase again if ever needed.

Good stuff
Had to extend my 200amp service wire by 15ft, and bury it. So far so good, I used a pair channel lock pliers and three heavy duty zip locks on each one.

Lo compre para cubrir unas uniones de cable que estan en el exterior y fue muy bueno y decidí comprar otro. No use la union de metal incluida porque no la necesitaba, solo el cuadro con gel.
