First try:Beautiful color for a great price. I love that it's a product of Japan. I use matcha mainly for matcha lattes and the taste was great! Much better than my previous cheaper Amazon matcha powder. Though, as some of the reviews suggested, it does need to be very well whisked. My standard whisk resulted in a few matcha powder clumps in my iced latte.Second try: I read on Google that clumping is "usually a sign of high-quality matcha." In fact, when you buy a traditional matcha set, it will come with a fine mesh seive. You are supposed to sift matcha to break up the clumps.After sifting and whisking with hot water, there were zero clumps in my matcha latte! It came out perfect. I think I found my new favorite matcha powder. Great quality and great price.

Literally the BEST Matcha powder out there!! I use a stevia packet to sweeten when I make it. It tastes better than any matcha drink that you will buy at a coffee shop. The texture is so smooth when you whisk it. I never get matcha chunks. It blends so easily too! It is so much matcha that it lasts me a couple of months and I drink a cup a day. It gives me enough energy for the day and doesn’t make me feel bloated.

Tried the Sweetened Ito En Matcha for the very first time trying matcha, was already better quality than your average café. Now trying out the unsweetened version, same great quality. Great affordable matcha option! A lot of cheap matcha can be not so satisfying without lots of sugar and milk, but this one is good enough that I enjoy drinking just as it is. Of course ceremonial grade matcha from Uji etc will be another level, and priced accordingly, but this one has been great for my everyday morning drink!

I have been buying this brand of Matcha for years. I loved it! I had tried so many brands to find the one I most liked. I ordered it in December for Christmas gifts for a few people that love Matcha. I also ordered myself two bags at the same time as the price was good. When I was finishing my current bag of Ito En Matcha, I got my next bag out to refill my tin that I keep my daily matcha in. As soon as I opened the bag I could tell that the color was wrong. The smell was wrong. I made a cup and the flavor was wrong. I consider this to be false advertising/fraud and am going to try to pursue a refund. It is wrong to change a product and not let the customer know they are not getting the quality they have in the past!
