Back for the third time
I first heard about this brand in about 2013-14. I started with the powder and a shaker bottle originally. I forget what flavor I had, but it was just okay. Then I saw that they had what they called the "shot". I tried that as well. And considering there's ZERO sugar in this, it was the sweetes thing id ever tasted. I'm talking absurdly sweet. So I switched back to the powder. Both of them are good for what their purpose is. But as we all know flavor plays a big roll a lot of times. And I hadn't used all of the power I originally purchased so it it just sat until it expired. Of course i eventually threw it out. Years go by (Clearly), I tell myself that Im going to try it again. I find these on here and grabbed some to try. I wasn't sure what to expect going in after my previous experience with this brand, but I must say that i like these a lot. They aren't overly sweet like the shots were. They dont have that weird taste like the powder did. And they're even better when you refrigerate them. I just ordered some more this morning it should be here sometime today 8/10/23.As far as its actul purpose, i can say that i believe that it works. At least for me it did. I saw a difference in my gains that i wasn't seeing when taking other proteins back when I was heavy in the gym. I had the fruity cereal last time. This time I ordered the vanilla cupcake. I'll update after this is uploaded and I try them. In my opinion, they're definitely worth a try.

Horrible Flavor - Worst Ever!
This must be an acquired taste. Easily the worst tasting protein drink I have ever tatsted in my life. It is a struggle to get through this product. It is sweeter than any shake I have ever tasted and not in a good way. I can't describe how horrible this flavor is. I must mix it with vanilla protein powder just to stomach it. If it weren't so pricey, I would throw it in the trash. You have been warned. This flavor should be discontinued. Worst ever.

Tastes like fruity cereal milk, just doesn't look like it. But trust me, it's good.
I had my eye on this product for some time. I was looking for a way to increase my protein intake without having to increase my nutritional intake to accomplish that goal. Boasting 40g of protein and ZERO grams of fat, sugar, and gluten, I took the plunge. The shakes come in 16.9-oz bottles, which is much bigger than the 8- or 12-oz shakes I'm used to ordering. The fruity cereal flavor was intriguing—who doesn't love cereal-flavored milk at any age?Pouring out the liquid, I was a bit taken aback at first. When someone says fruity cereal milk, my mind immediately goes to a bowl of pink-ish or orange-ish tinted milk with little fruity cereal crumbs floating around. Be prepared to not see that. Rather, the fluid is a caramel liquid sort of like a Jarritos Tamarind soda color.I hesitated.I hesitated a lot.Let me shake it up - maybe the milky product is down at the bottom.....shake.....shake.....shake.......Nope. Same.Well, let me just see....Sip. Another sip. Mmm? Sip. Mmmm! What I observed when tasting the drink is the mind-matter complex. With the expectation of seeing a milky substance, my mouth also expected to receive the consistency of milk, even though I could see, I was not going to be consuming milk or any equivalent. So, the mind has to let go of the preconceptions I created for it, so that it can fully enjoy this wonderful-tasting drink. I think it's going to take a couple or three bottles to work through that. If you come across that similar sensation, it's a bit unsettling but cool at the same time if one recognizes that's exactly what's happening. The mouth is rejecting what the mind is convinced the body is receiving.Okay, enough digression. Try it out. Make sure it's very cold.

Good high protein drink
This is high on proteins. The taste is ok but I personally don't like the color which is like a beef broth.

Lactose free caused no issues but taste is very sweet and may not be for everyone.
As far as lactose tolerance there were no issues. As far as taste i just couldn't drink it. It was so veryly sweet it was just to much for me. I only drank one and gave the rest away. If you like super sweet fruity pebbles than you may like it.

Good Protein
I've been using Muscle Meds protein for some time now. These taste great. The thickness is also pleasant.

Worst taste I’ve had in a protein shake
I was very excited after reading other reviews on the beef protein drink. They said great chocolate taste. It was not great at all. It was so bad it almost spit it out. I kept trying sips of it to see if it could tolerate it. No luck. I threw out the case of it.

Better keep looking
Ok, I’m gonna shoot you straight about this product. In hindsight I probably should have listened to the negative reviews about this product. The taste is not “unbearable” but definitely not very pleasant. If you happen to be on a carnivore diet as I am you will know that your sensitivity to sugar is heightened and this stuff is simply too sweet. The second negative is that it’s “fruit loop” flavor and so you expect it to look like a milk product but instead it looks like watered down maple syrup. So far I have committed that I will finish the case and have four boxes downed so far. If you drink them extra cold and never look at the color you can probably get it down and benefit from the 40 grams of protein. If you also prepare yourself by thinking it’s going to be an awful nasty medicine then you might be pleasantly surprised it’s better than that. If you are reading this I suggest you keep shopping for something else.
