Brewista BAVTK2BNA Artisan Variable Temperature Kettle, 9L, Black

This kettle is very beautiful. The auto-on feature is what I've been looking for on a good kettle for a while. The spout is able to pour super lightly without the dribble you usually get on other cheaper gooseneck kettles. All that being said, there are 2 negatives I will give to this kettle.1) the display is not very intuitive. It's also not very confusing, but they could've done so much better with making the controls make more sense.2) the water temperature initially hits the target temp very precisely, however if say the temperature has cooled 2-4 degrees and you want to reheat it back to what is set, there is often a long delay. So if you like to keep your water temperature during a pour over at the exact same temp, it's pretty impossible.Overall, this product is worth it if you have the extra funds. I enjoy saving an extra 7 minutes every morning while it autoboils for me.

Bought this in June and in a month it already started chipping on the handle. It looks awful. Now it’s not turning on—even after changing outlets. I’ve got a dead electric kettle. Would not recommend.

Pro- I love the fact that the bottom of this kettle stays cool. The timer take some time to get used to programming. Other than that nothing really stands out. Works great in the RV electrical system.Con- The lettering wore off. The Artisan wood finish started peeling two months in. If you tilt kettle too much water will come out of the lid {not the Vent holes part either}.

Was down to this or the Fellow Stagg. Decided on the artisan for the auto on feature so my kettle could be ready to go when I get up. And the way the neck is shaped allows for extremely precise control of the pour. Also very useful for other uses. Great gooseneck kettle. Highly recommend.

This is a nice kettle, good temperature control, good pour, etc.I did have a bit of a bad experience with it. While half-asleep one morning, I set it to boil before putting water it in. The kettle immediately started to heat up, and then smoke as some plastic somewhere began to overheat. I was able to catch it before anything bad happened.It seems like for the cost of this kettle, it should include a sensor to ensure there's water actually in it, so it won't melt.

Pros: Nice looking kettle. Full of features. I personally like timer, auto reheat, auto-start. Easy to control the pour from gooseneck.Cons: UI/UX isn't great -- it's not as easy to turn on/off when you want to. The electric outlet doesn't fit snugly. It's easy to get disconnected.I'll probably return.

Very nice electric tea kettle, love the auto brew function. Comfortable handle and stylish design.

This product was a Christmas present and surprised our son and daughter-in-law. Not only were the looks very unique but the process for heating and pouring lend great character to the look and function of this teapot.
