Great jacket but I have a few questions!
I love this jacket, super tough heavy guage Cordura (1000d) with a water repellent treatment applied.. it's great for rough and tumble environment and has velcro for sleve patches and nametape on the breast. Quality zippers and huge selection of pockets. There is a zipper set for a fleece liner but I do not see a zip in liner for sale so I'm trying to find which liner will fit. I have both the tan and theGrey the price is higher but it is worth every penny. This jacket is a copy of a jacket that cost 3x the price. I'm super happy and will update the review after trying to contact the seller.

Good stuff though with some flaws, read below
Very cool. Extremely durable and well made for a Chinese knock off. I bought a medium, I’m 6’0, 165 lbs, athletically built and it fits nicely. I even had room to wear a thick fleece under it.Works well in the wind but not quite “windPROOF” and the waterPROOFing is not quite correct because it still absorbs water after a while. That said, it is very wind and water RESISTANT. Important distinction to be made there. The resistance to wind and water is great but it is not quite wind and water proof. The 1000D cordura is awesome material but not the same as what a true wind/water proof jacket is made of. MUCH more durable though than what those jacket’s shells are made of (typically).Quality control gripe: mine came with one side of the waist adjustment strap torn off but not a deal breaker, I just looped it into the plastic piece and zip tied it. This where that whole Chinese knock off part shows.Personal taste related gripe: the buckles that go all the way up the front are kinda weird and unnecessary. Still not sure why those are there or what intended function they are supposed to have.Price gripe: I wish I took a picture of this but I didn’t and it’s too late due to trash pickup, but I paid $270 USD for multicam. The receipt/customs form from China had it listed as valued at $80 USD.... c’mon now. At least try to hide that. The fact that Zapt hiked the price by over 300% is dirty but expected, they are a business afterall. BUT, don’t rub it in. Insult to injury man.All things considered, I’m satisfied enough to give it 4 stars, would have been 5 if not for that torn strap and blatant price gouging. Plus a little product exaggeration.

Almost perfect jacket
Very heavy duty shell jacket. The material is stiff like a motorcycle jacket so I assume it will relax over time. I took off a star because QC missed an interior zipper that was sewn into a seam. Luckily I don't plan on using a liner so I'll leave it be; otherwise I have to cut it and re-sew the seam. Also there is only 1 tag that says the size. No care instructions or country of origin.

Alexa - order me the best shell on Amazon
This is only an outer shell. I figured I would put that up front of my review. It is plainly stated in the description but some people may not read that.Let me just say that this shell is awesome. There are inner pockets that have little pockets inside of them on both sides. There are also arm pockets that zip up, as well as chest pockets and normal hand pockets. The inside of this shell is cloth, and mesh / net that is pretty ventilated. If any of you have ever had a motorcycle jacket that was designed for multiple seasons, this is pretty much identical, no liner at all.The main zipper that goes up the front has a flap that goes over it, this flap is only held down by the multiple strap connectors. This method of closing the flap continues all the way to the very top where your chin is.There is molle sewn in various places as you can see in the picture, and there is a handle on the back upper part of the shell - for someone to help you balance when leaning over something or maybe pull you out of a situation where you are stuck, (or to be used as a hanger for the shell)..The shell is totally windproof as I have tested myself, but I have not yet tested the waterproof-ness yet. The flexibility in the arms and shoulders, is perfect.I ordered the range that covers my chest size and it is slightly oversized, which in my opinion you definitely want because you're going to need a fleece or some type of under layer anyway.I always love the cold season, and can't wait for it to come this year so I can wear this bad boy more often.

Great Jacket! Excellent Customer Service!
I had no doubt the jacket would be awesome, but based on the other reviews, I was concerned about what size to order. A lot of reviews say the jacket runs large. I like extra room, but didn't want it to feel like I was swimming in it. Large or medium? I contacted the seller, and was refreshingly surprised to receive my first response back (of several) within the hour! She went above and beyond in making sure the jacket was going to be the right size, leaving room for layers (including a tactical service vest and shoulder holster) and a bottom hem that would go at least 3 inches down below my waist belt line. I'm only 5'9", and 175 lbs, Chest 44.5", Waist 38", Sleeve 21.5", and Back 24" from collar to belt. Despite what other reviews kind of indicated for someone of my dimensions, The large actually fits perfect! Hope this helps for other folks trying to determine what size to get. Also...the shipping was fast! Ordered on Oct 31, and received it on Nov 4.

Its a great jacket but short
Love the pockets, wind and water resistant, heavy, the only complaint I have is that it short. I'm 6 foot 280 and got a 2xl. It's right about my waistline.other then that I love it.

Great jacket!
I highly recommend it. It’s perfect for what I do. I’m a security professional and it fits perfectly under my plate carrier but doesn’t cover my duty belt, viz., my gun and mags. It doesn’t affect my draw whatsoever, and is durable enough to protect me from the elements. It comes slightly larger than sized (large) so be aware. I washed and dried it to get a better fit myself, which fixed the problem for me. I’m trying to find a warm liner for it for the colder days, but its size allows to wear layers underneath. I only wished the soft velcros on the arms were standard sizes to fit flag patches. It’s otherwise awesome overall. Highly recommend!!!!

Strong, but stiff
Credit where credit is due, the material that this is made from is extremely robust, however for me this caused some issues:The mobility in the jacket is very limited. If you lift your arms anywhere above shoulder level, because of the stiffness the jacket begins to lift up, unlike most other regular jackets I own.Personally I believe this issue can be fixed by employing the same design solution mid-high end tactical trousers use; insert small patches or strips of an elastic material at points of articulation. Meaning possibly putting some elasticated material somewhere under the arms and potentially around the elbows too.I also personally believe that the jacket has too much material on the back, however it may be functional, I just haven't noticed how. It's very noticeable when looking from the side-on how much of the material sits at the back of the jacket.I'll credit the sizing though...my regular size is extremely large on me, and therefore I actually had to go 1 size down from usual for it to fit me properly. It has good adjustability at points too, like in the waist and the wrists for example. Those can be adjusted with the respective nylon webbing tri-glides and velco systems. The molle system on the front of the jacket is very useful too, good for attaching small molle phone holders, magazine pouches and even flashlight pouches. The arm has a few molle slots too for anything additional which is nice. The Jacket has a multitude of pockets inside and outside the coat. However, I'm not a fan of the outer chest pocket as it sits crinkled and creased most of the time, given no padding or proper stitching to make it look like a feature of the actual coat - instead looking quickly stitched onto the jacket. What's nice is that it is windproof, has two zips and feels like a very secure coat. It's good for keeping warm in the Winter especially, whilst keeping thin enough not to become a wearable greenhouse.Overall it's quite nice and feels a decent quality, but comes across slightly unfinished, so could benefit from some design updates.

Buy it!
Nice jacket, made in the USA! That makes it worth the higher price. If you order from Canada, you will pay almost fifty bucks in duty at the post office, that was a bit surprising but still worth it! Im 5'11" 180lbs, ordered the extra large and on its own its a bit big but with a hoodie or a somthing warm under it, it fits great! Also my tactical plate vest fits over it like the two were made for each other!Update! Just went for a epic motorcycle ride, this jacket is windproof at 60 miles an hour!Second update! Rode my bike through a severe thunderstorm, the jacket was 98% waterproof, the contents of my pockets remained 100% dry, this is a great motorcycle jacket!
