The Himawari 14.9-inch waterproof backpack is amazing. The Himawari 14.9-inch backpack has a spacious front pocket big enough to hold textbooks, notebooks, and anything else you might need. The smaller pockets inside provide a lot of space for any extra things you might have like chargers, a phone, an e-reader, and writing utensils. The backpack also has a padded laptop pocket. The pocket that is on the front of the backpack is also very spacious. The two water bottle pockets on the side, although a bit tight, make for a secure place to put your water bottle. The backpack also comes in so many cute colors and different color combinations. The colors on the backpack that I ordered were cream, baby pink, and baby blue. After about a week of solid use, I can confidently say that this backpack is awesome. The colors of the backpack are adorable and the material is really good quality. The main pocket can hold everything I need, including textbooks, planners, and notebooks. The laptop pocket feels very secure and I have no worries about my laptop's safety while it is inside. The other pockets inside the backpack are also nice and are large enough to hold anything extra I need to bring like my laptop charger, my glasses case, and even my Kindle. The outside pocket is also a huge bonus for me because it gives me enough space to store my lunch and snacks separate from anything majorly important. One of the minor downsides to this backpack is that the water bottle pockets are a bit tight and even my 24 oz water bottle kind of struggles to fit. Another downside is that one of the inside pockets, the one with the elastic, is a bit fragile. I had a pen in the elastic pocket for only about an hour and it had managed to poke a small hole in the bottom. Overall this backpack is amazing. I love the way the backpack looks, and how much it holds, and I am confident that this backpack will last. The two minor downsides barely affect my overall experience using this backpack. I would recommend this backpack to anyone that wants a cute yet functional backpack.

I'm absolutely in love with this bag and the color is very accurate. It's not too small, but not too big; right in the medium size area. I got this to replace my Kanken Mini and I've been using it much more often. Side pockets fit (separately) a regular size water bottle, an umbrella, phones (iphone, samsungs, and pluses), pencil pouches, etc. Inner side pockets stretch and can hold all the things mentioned before. Back pocket fits a Macbook Pro 13" snuggly, a standard U.S. binder or the largest 12.9 ipad pro. A 15" laptop probably would not fit.Front pouch buttons are very strong and don't pop open easily. Takes two hands to open them, which is a plus for me. Handle feels sturdy and straps are comfortable. The longest strap length is 30". I'm 5'6" and I find I don't even need to set them to the longest setting.The brand patch on the front has a funny spelling error and says "ressential" instead of "essential" which I knew before getting the bag from the item images, but it's a clear indicator that this is a cheap, overseas bag. Not many people are going to be looking that closely so I'm okay with it.One major flaw I've noticed though, and I think this goes for this entire line and not just mine based on other review images I've seen, is that the bag is lopsided/uneven. The front pouch as well as the straps are off-center to the rest of the bag (pictures included). The right side is a good 1/2" wider than the left which doesn't seem like it would matter much, but it affects the strap length when you wear the bag and makes the bag tend to slouch to one side more than the other. Wasn't noticeable until I wore it. Not a huge functional error, and the cuteness makes up for it, so I'm still giving it a 5 star, but this could be very annoying to others.Also, if you have a lot of items in the front flap compartments, it tends to make the bag lean and fall forward on the ground, but if you have heavier items in the main pouch or hang your bag on a hook, then this doesn't matter much.Overall I think this is a great dupe for the Doughnut Macaroon backpack which is way overpriced in my opinion. Good for a college backpack and as a carry-on travel bag. I wouldn't recommend for someone who carries heavy textbooks and a billion notebooks. Better suited for light-wear.

Pros - well made through out-internal pockets are pretty good, with one velcro compartment and another 2 zipped compartments- good laptop compartment- sturdy- when straps are not extended the extra strip can be simply buttoned up and it looks very neat--cute handle at the top for simply picking it up, my favorite featureCons- pocket at the sides not great for anything much. No zip so it's not secure for wallets, id's etcSmaller items such as pens markers etc will simply fall out- also the pocket in the front is pretty difficult to open due to the buttons, but at least it's secure
