Unusual use - marking digitized tapes and other analog media
I've been using round Avery dots for years in my digitizing lab, and have never liked them at all... not great adhesive. These were a wonderful discovery: easy to write on, decent adhesive even on old metal reels, and perfect size for a standard area on every VHS tape. Much more professional appearance, and we've changed over to them completely.Have not tried printing on them; we just write with an ultra-fine retractible Sharpie.

Labels themselves are great! But be wary of the templates
These are fantastic labels, I love the clear ones, although it's more like a matte clear - which looks good to me. They are a great way to label my bottle openers (as pictured). I use them on metal pinbacks as well as magnet backings.I downloaded the template from the company's website, but it does not line up properly. I made sure to space my text perfectly in the template. I made sure my print was not being resized. When I printed, the labels were starting to get close to the edge about 1/4 of the way down, starting to clip at half way, and by the end and entire line of text was cut off. I contacted the company and they said while they could not guarantee the templates would work properly, they did offer to replace the labels and sent me a new package of them. I really appreciate the fantastic customer service! To fix the issue, I ended up making borders around the label cut lines in the template in photoshop. I printed several copies of the borders on plain paper and held them up to the labels (backed by a light) to see if the borders matched the cut lines. Then I went back in to photoshop and adjusted each line. It was not a "simple nudge everything up" but I had to go in line by line and move it up. It took a while but now it's perfect.I also tried these on an inkjet and a laser printer. The laser prints worked way better.

Ink Doesn't Dry
This may be printer-specific, but I used these labels with my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 and the ink was still smearable 2 days after printing, and it's pretty hard to peal the printed labels off the sheet without touching and smearing the ink.Worse yet, I purchased these labels to identify light switches, so odds are they're going to be touched a lot, so they're absolutely the wrong label for my purposes. If you're looking to use them for some other purpose, have a different type of printer and can wait several days between printing the labels and applying them, they might be right for you, but not for me.

Not bad labels
The labels are great but the template from the website is not so easy to work with. Good adhesive.

I use these to label stuff that I store in my chest freezer
I used to label food packages with a Sharpee, but the ink invariably smears over time. These I can write on with a No. 2 pencil, stick it on the storage container or plastic zip-bag, and the writing stays legible forever in the freezer. I sort of wish they washed off the tupperware more thoroughly when I'm done with them (they leave a residue), but not a deal breaker -- after all, I was okay with the Sharpee ink residue back in the day.

Labels better than the user!
I needed to add a number to an already printed brochure. These are the perfect option, nothing wrong at all with the quality. The user (me) hasn't been able to figure out to print a page of the same number, so I haven't actually used them. Duh. Have done this in the past but it was way too long ago. The nice thing about these is that although I do have an online label source, this was going to come faster and I could order single pages for whatever quantity I needed. And we love our Prime!

Worked Great
Some people are not computer-savvy and have had problems with printing. The template provided worked perfectly in WORD. Yes...they do print borders around the labels, but this is not hard to remove if you know how WORD works.

Irritating Template and Lots of Smudging
First of all, this isn't like an Avery template where you just type and print. You have to figure out how to remove the border they have on the template by default which ACTUALLY PRINTS. Not sure who's dumb idea that was, but it was a huge waste of time to remove it. They are also not like Avery sheets where you can remove all of the border area at once, making it easier to pull each individual sticker. When you finally get them to print, half of them are smudged and smeared by the printer as they come out, and even waiting for 24 hours for them to dry I get a lot of smudging when applying them to a surface. Not going to work for an item we are selling to the public. Not recommended.

Le produit est facile a manipuler
Il faut savoir que l'on devrait utiliser le produit avec une impression en GRAS, sinon l'impression est trop claire.
