Works perfectly.
Bright light. Looks nice, although mine came with some small smudge spots that wont just rub off. Might need to use something to get it out. But its not a big deal at all. Fun to use and the click on and off and momentary feel easy to use. Very simple to install, didn’t even need instructions. It comes with rail adapters to be able to move the light closer or farther depending on your gun and how you want it to feel. Works fantastic for the price, 10/10 :)

Simple, Bright and Ambi-capable
I'm a lefty and finding firearm related products that work well for me is always a challenge. This CT CMR 209 is being used on a pepper ball launcher (less than lethal option) so I wanted something that could light up a potential target as the efficacy of the launcher is only up to about 60'. I can't hit what I can't see. Plus, the 200 lumens may momentarily distract an aggressor when used, which can be an advantage for me, if only for a second or two.The light fits my needs but I don't know how well it would work mounted on a real firearm (taking into condsieration the greater shock from recoil) but I'd recommend it since it fit very well on the accessory rail under the barrel of my device. The activation buttons only require very light pressure and there's an option to press once and have the light stay on when your finger is removed, or to tap and hold the button to get light. Once your finger is lifted., the light will go off.I own a CT laser for a real pistol and it has flawlessly operated for many years. I'd buy this again or another of their light/laser products for other applications, if needed.

Probably the cheapest budget weapon light
I'll sum this up in the first paragraph then elaborate from there. This light is probably the cheapest light I'd buy for a home-defense weapon. It's not great nor bad, it's simply OK. But when you consider its price, what you're getting isn't all that bad.The body of the light is a polymer in look and feel. So if you have a steel body gun and are looking to pair it with a similar looking light, you're not going to get that here. The illumination isn't anywhere as bright as other lights on the market, and honestly that's what led to my purchase. This is the light you buy with hte mindset of "in the event the person is IN my home". We often forget that white walls reflect bright light as well as many homes have shiny surfaces which allows light to reflect. The light is bright enough to irritate a person within 30-feet, but don't expect to blind them. Additionally, you don't have to worry about the brightness of the light bouncing off a television or other reflective object, in turn temporarily blinding you. This is probably the only pro with a light that not super bright. The paddles work well and make zero sound. There's no strobe, just temporary on and on. That is to say you can tap a paddle and the light will turn on and remain on until you tap a paddle again OR if you press and hold the paddle for longer than 1 second, it will remain on until you release the paddle. While we're here, pressing and holding on paddle, then pressing the paddle on the other side does nothing. The light will not turn off, nor will you unlock a strobe mode. You can also press both paddles simultaneously, the light will do the function of whichever paddle you release last. The one thing I don't like about the light is that there is no function to keep the light off or lock it in an off state. This means that you can store the weapon and bump it in such a way to activate th light, which means it will remain on until you turn it off. That in mind, I've found it best to partially unscrew the battery cap when the weapon is no in use. A bit annoying, but again, this isn't some high-end light. This is a very budget light.Worked and held reliably on a Hk VP9 (family), Ruger SR-22, Glock family, and Fn509

Will Work on Ruger PC carbine, and that's what I needed.
I recently purchased a Ruger PC carbine for my daughter. I had seen some people saying that the built in rail sections on the front of the PCs are not long enough to allow all lights to work and that the swivel stud got in the way of some lights. This light works great on the PC. It is nothing fancy and is what it is, a basic weapon light. Simple on and off. I like this for my daughter. I was disappointed that this light would not mount on my G34. Guess there is another adapter you have to purchase. However this light has to be bolted to the rail. I honestly was surprised by this cause my other lights have quick release levers. Again my main point to buying this light was for that one rifle, so not to upset about that. And if I want to move it to another rifle I can. Would not recommend this for pistols, unless you have a holster that will accommodate it. It's just to much of a Hassel to take on and off. I trust the crimson trace brand they make great accessories. This light is no exception. Just remember this is a basic light, no extras, but it will do what it's built to do.

Great light but..
Would have been a great light. The weight and fit were perfect, aesthetically looked good, I wanted to love this light BUT.. the switch is a major design flaw. It activates to easily. Light activated on three different occasions while being transported in a pistol case, ran the battery dead. The switch is definitely to sensitive. Some bevel on the design might have fixed this but this is a big transport and holstering problem
