Great product. Keeps my desk clutter free from cords.

I've only had this for a few days but I love it! I have my laptop connected to my flat screen and the first cable wasn't long enough and the connection head was heavy, causing connection problems at both ends, laptop and flat screen. The second cable was too long and had the same connection problems, but now I was beginning to notice the connection jack on my laptop was showing slight movement. This unit, so far anyway, is the perfect length, it's light, the cable is flat, it doesn't show any connection looseness in either my laptop jacks or flat screen jacks. I thought having the reel in the center because you have to pull out evenly from both ends (something I have problems with with the headsets that have the same design) but it either sets on the edge of the tv cabinet or the tv tray my laptop sets on. Either way, my problems are gone, my granddaughter has yet to get tangled in it and none of the cats pay any attention to it. I will update if need be but so far, perfection!

Got two of these now for travel and/or emergency use and they work great. The retractable part is perfect for travel and/or emergency storage since you don't have the tangle factor. Only suggestion is it is a bit large/heavy - would be nice if there was one using a more lightweight cord so it is even more compact for travel. Not sure if that's possible though and the size makes it feel really solid.

I had a retractable HDMI cable from Tera Grand that finally stopped working after several years of rough handling, bouncing around in my travel bag. I chose this model as the replacement because the cord is longer. The 3ft cord on most retractable HDMI cables can be inconveniently short when trying to reach from the back of a large TV to a surface in front. Because the cable is longer, the spool is bigger but still portable (the spool is 3"x2"x1" and the cable ends stick out another 1.5" on each side when retracted). It works great to connect my Windows laptop or iPad Pro to a TV when traveling (through a USB-C adapter).

Perfect for use. I bought to connect my laptop to my work monitor in my home so I can do my own stuff in the evenings. Since transitioning to a work from home role my work setup doesn't allow room for my personal desktop monitor. Getting creative I hooked up my double monitors to the docking station, then my desktop to the one via VGA and my laptop to the other via this HDMI. Utilizing the logitech MX keys and MX Anywhere 2S I can easily switch from all the devices. I am not tech savvy at all so I'm just thrilled it worked. The only thing to note is the size. It is much bigger than I expected. I took a picture next to a standard size swingline stapler for reference. It hangs down a little further from the monitor than I'd wanted (also pictured), but not an issue or as big of an eye sore as the non retractable HDMI cable I had there previously. 9.9 out of 10, hopefully it holds up. The display is HD and I hope the end can withstand the constant connect/disconnect, and the cable can withstand the constant extension,/recoil.

This is an excellent concept. Strong retraction and is small enough to fit without any problem in most laptop cases or overnight business bags. However, the first time i went to use (laptop>tv) there was no signal on the tv. figured it was the tv, so back in the bag it went.Tried again in another tv, no success. Tried one last time to run a dual monitor and again...no signal.It appears i received a defective cable and waited to long to try it out. No i am SOL. If you order this, just be sure to check to make sure it works immediately.Thanks.

This is a great little product. Small enough to fit in my "Xoom Man Purse" without being noticed. When paired with a mini HDMI to HDMI adapter I use it to hook my Motorola Xoom to HD TVs.
