Dye For Peace
The media could not be loaded. I love Manic Panic products. These shampoo and conditioners aren't as harsh as other similar haircare products so they won't strip away your color as quickly as others.

I'll definitely be buying again
I'm not sure if people who are complaining about the smell actually read the product information. It clearly says that it smells like grapefruit. Either you like it or you don't. I personally don't have an issue with it.I'm also not sure that it's the products fault for the washout. I've had zero issues with that. The purple in the first picture DID wash out fairly quickly but I have an idea that had more to do with the process than the shampoo. Second picture is still going strong even after almost a month. All in all, I wish the bottle was a bit bigger for the money but you can't always get what you want, lol.

Preserved my color
I bought this shampoo/conditioner set a few weeks ago. I’ve used pretty much every vibrant semi-permanent dye but these days I use a lot of Manic Panic so I thought I’d try out their shampoo. So far I’m happy. I feel like I’m fading less than when I used, say, L’Oréal color protection shampoo. Of course fade still happens- if you’re here you know the rules for color preservation. Cold water rinse etc. But if you’re doing all that and still struggling, this might help. It has with me and my deep purple hair!

It does keep the color from fading, but…
First off, the conditioner came with the seal open! The bottle seemed completely full for me and I had just dyed and washed my hair and didn’t have another conditioner in hands so I didn’t bother asking for a refund or a replacement. Both of them have very good scents and it seems to really help to keep the color! First pic showing my face it’s right after dying and the other one it’s a month later. (I wash it 2-3 times a week with cool/warm water). The one thing I noticed it’s I’ve been loosing SO MUCH hair that I am already considering to shave it! My hair it’s soft and smooth so the problem it’s not breakage. I can see all the lil roots on the hairs that fall off on the pillow case, in the shower or while brushing it. I know that could be due to a lot of factors but this set was the only change I’ve done in the past weeks so for now I’ll take it it is it’s fault :(

Leaves hair very oily
After washing my hair it was still very very oily. It didn't cause the color to run out of hair, just didn't help wash it at all. Also, doesn't smell very good.

SILKY SOFT!
HOLY COW. THIS COULD BE A NEW HOLY GRAIL. I just got this in the mail today and let me tell youuuuu. The prepare to dye is great for getting your hair ready for another dying but that conditioner... 🤯 So soft, so silky. I’ve never used a conditioner that makes my hair feel this great. I have medium thickness hair - naturally ~frizzy beach wavey~ I guess. Just has a mind of its own. Even coming out of the shower I could still run my fingers straight through it. Definitely added points for me. Will update to see how the no fade works after dying it again.

Stinky Let Down
This actually has removed the color from my hair worse than regular shampoo/conditioner. There's absolutely NO lather from the shampoo at all, and it never made my hair even look/feel clean. The conditioner definitely didn't make my hair feel conditioned at all. And my biggest complaint is that not only did it NOT clean my hair or help keep my color, but it also REALLY stunk. There's no nice smell to it at all. I expected a LOT better from manic panic, but I was definitely let down. If I could give 0 stars I would have. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
