Fabriano Artstico Traditional White Watercolour Paper Cold Pressed 300 GSM A5 (Pack of 15 Sheets)

I like this paper. It is cold pressed cotton yet just moderately rough. I don't do much wet into wet rather wet on dry even for my landscapes. I was using another brand which took far more water than this one and made it frustrating. This paper is perfect for my painting approach.

Its a good watercolour paper overall. My issue is with the seller and their packaging. 1 out of the 6 sheets was not like the others. It did not have sizing and could not be used for any kind of painting. This defective paper had a different grain as well.

The product is too much hard surfaced... I doubt it's 100% cotton and hot pressed tag... 100% Cotton hot pressed papers are always very soft... But the feel of the surface is very harsh... Gives very sharp and harsh lines with pencil... Very difficult to give smooth shading... I purchased similar product of 15"x22" and it is super beautiful product but this one disappointed me... Buy only if you are a beginner... Coz it will suck out your confidence.... Stay happy....🥳

The paper is traditional white as described and has the Fabriano Artistico Watermark, that's good to see. Only thing, the package had one sheet less. Received only 14 A5 sheets. Should've checked the package on receipt :-)

It's a good paper, maybe not as good as Arches, but definitely second to it. The texture is smooth like linen and allows for even washes ideal for portraits or botanical work.

Is it possible to get A4 size? It's one of my favourite watercolor paper

Very nice paper, although not sure if it is 300gsm as the paper appears to be quite thin, yet you can use both the sides without the colors seeping through. I loved it

I have bought Fabriano Artistico Rough pressed paper before from the same seller (directly,not through Amazon) and the quality was fine. This lot bought from Amazon is far inferior to what I had procured directly from the seller. The individual sheets felt very thin and none of them have the usual watermark. I understand this may be due to the fact that sheets are cut to size but the paper is also peeling off and even after blow drying, the issue remains. The final result looks dirty and coarse. Trying to work on this is a waste of paint.
