Good product
Perfect replacement or alternative to the original dock. It charges just fine and does everything the original stand would do. Sometimes you need to click the button on it to get your tv to pick up the signal when you first start, then you’re good.

Good replacement if you lost your’s
I lost my original doc and this was a great replacement with good connection to the switch.

Works fine, isn't super sturdy though
The stand itself doesn't support the Switch very well. So, if you have young kids, rowdy dogs, etc. that could bump into it and knock the switch off, maybe consider just buying another official docking station. But, I don't have any of those things, so it works fine for me. I just keep it close to the middle of my TV stand so that if it does get knocked it won't fall all the way to the floor. It works great technical-wise. Easy to set up, and works perfectly.

Great little doc for the switch
This is a great little doc for the switch, save yourself some money. Only "issue" is that sometimes you have to unseat it and re-seat it to get the signal back on the TV, BUT, that might be related to the last game the kids played as well, I feel like it's a fortnight "issue". Otherwise, if I hit the home button and A I get the signal everytime. My TV kinda sucks too, so there's that.

Maybe it's was flawed to begin with ?
I bought this several years ago because I travel a lot & I frequently bring my Switch w me, so I figured if i ever wanted to hook it up to a hotel tv I could get a full screen. My Nintendo's Switch dock broke at the end of December 2023 (had it since March 2020 {Covid lockdown}) & it opened this up for the first time thinking I would just use it as a replacement. It is of course much more simplified, lighter & easier to use than the original Nintendo dock, which costs $60USD to replace from the source. After 5-6 weeks the blue light on the front of the unit began to flicker on & off frequently, & when I would lift it off the dock it was also not completely charged on several occasions. It stopped displaying on my tv, & I had to sometimes lift the Switch off the dock & put it back in place several times to get a picture to appear on the screen. Then the blue light went out all together & it stopped charging the Switch as well. I checked connections, reset everything several times per instructions found online, but w no real progress since. I ended up buying a brand name Nintendo dock as a result, & this dock still flickers on & off on occasion & charges the Switch but is otherwise unusable. So as a temporary, cheap replacement I could maybe recommend it there, but it's definitely not intended nor good for long term use

Great little dock!
I'm currently working overseas and using this dock for my time off. I didn't want to bring my official Nintendo dock that is kinda expensive to replace if I'm rebuying it....SO this switch dock is a perfect alternative. I just started using it 17 Nov 2020 and with 220v here. It's holding up like I thought it would. It's also small enough to fit in your pocket and works exactly like the official dock. Just plug and play! The sad thing is that it doesn't come with a charger or HDMI for the dock, but those are pretty easy to get. I'm using the charger from my switch for the dock (its compatible!) and I got a 6 feet HDMI chord from my local store in the electronics section. Will update if it ever breaks (if it was not my fault...lol)

Great little multi functioning device
Great little device. It allowed my son to play his switch on my TV with out bringing his docking station from his mother's. And it is such a small device it fits anywhere and is not an eyesore. The switching between playing on TV to the consol itself is pretty cool as it doubles as a stand so he doesn't have to hold it and play plus it will charge as he plays on it. It's powered by a USB type C cord. It has the same hook up as the original dock for it. Overall a great buy!

temporary fix
worked great for about 3 months, but now it’s not reading any input. the original dock that came with my switch still works just fine, so i know it’s this new dock that’s not working. i would just invest in the dock they sell at the nintendo store
