It’s doesn’t fit as described
It’s not built right. Doesn’t fit as described. I tried twice. I should have read the reviews. Just went by amazon prime, and best seller! No China on an American motorcycle. I knew better!

it has an issue
The stock original Harley Davidson oil dipstick would go all the way down into the hole until it fit flush with the top of the oil tank. This replacement unit purchased thru amazon does not fit flush as is obvious by the photo.

Not a good fit.
The design and fitment are not the best. It will not be flush with the oil tank because the top end is too thick. The item also didnt seem to be assembled correctly. It didnt lock down in the right position so i had to disassemble it and adjust the top end. I still didnt like the way it sat so i swapped out. The original cap with the new one.

Cap failed after 7 weeks. Avoid purchasing this brand.
I ordered 4/27 and installed on 4/30. 6/16 and the oil cap has ceased to lock in the retracted position. I removed from the bike and cleaned and lubricated the cap, but it will no longer work. It looks goofy sticking out of the side of the bike, and I feel like I wasted my money going with this brand. I will be purchasing another cap from a better vendor.
