Talking Tables Host Your Own Murder Mystery Game, 5-12 Players, 1920s Dinner Party

Used this for a dinner party to celebrate my birthday and had the most fun!I’ve hosted a few murder mystery parties but this is my favourite pack so far!!Made it so much easier as the host for me to be involved but able to enjoy myself too.Only thing - we couldn’t understand the purpose of the secret traits! Made no difference to the play and was just an unnecessary extra card

Brilliant set of characters with their own personalities and each player receives an additional trait card at random to also influence their character's behaviour.Light-hearted but entertaining when done with a group of willing participants. Powers of deduction, costumes and accents, usually those that border on the outlandish, are rewarded with Best Detective, Acting and Dressed awards.

I've played one out of the three scenarios so far with friends, just planning the second now.It's really fun but some of the stuff is a bit weird (like asking players to sing 'london bridge is falling down' - not sure what this is meant to add and its just embarrassing?). Overall it's a great game and even as host I couldn't guess who the murderer was (two of the group did).Also - I don't recommend drinking while playing. Makes it very challenging to keep track of the clues haha.

Very good value for money, great fun. We added in cocktail making between each round of clues. Would recommend.

I ordered this the day before nee years Eve and it came the following morning.....awesome as was worried I wasn’t going to get it Until 9pm by which time i wouldn’t have been able to use it. I’ve played many murder mystery games and this was by far the best yet. The quality of the material, the props was fantastic . Also the clues were really concise which meant you could easily scan and ad-lib without the need for boring read out from a pamphlet that I’ve done with some before. Great characters; great story it was a massive hit. Incidentally I played this with 5 of us, three adults and two kids aged 13 and 10 all loved it.
