Unless it's stolen, I can't imagine having to replace this cable anytime soon.Whether my bass guitar sounds "better" is debatable, but I have no complaints - no noise, no coloring, no unwanted distortion, no loss. I hear everything I expect and nothing I don't.I'm not surprised Mogami is recommended by "the pros." If a cheap cable goes bad, don't complain - just buy another one. Or, buy one Mogami. If it ever goes bad, unlike Monster, Mogami still honors their 'no questions asked' exchange policy. I expect they build it so you won't need to.

And over $100 for a 6 foot cable I was in complete and total shock to receive a product that was defective. As such, I had to return it.

Mogami Gold cables are ridiculously expensive. They’re also the best in the business. Absolutely no noise whatsoever and crystal clear. Ultra strong connectors that feel great and connect and disconnect with a satisfying click. Cable is thick and durable yet soft and pliable. Did I say these are the best?
