These pencil holders are perfect for my nine year old. They are a little smaller than I expected with the hole to hold the pencils only being about an inch and a half in diameter. Still they hold enough and there are two of them! I did think the balls on the outside were going to be in some sort of liquid but they are not. They just kind of statically cling to the side but do move if you shake it. My daughter loves them and that’s what’s important!

These are disappointing. I thought it was floating beads. No. Just plastic beads, that stay on the bottom.

I bought this set and the pink/purple set and all came fine except the green, which was shattered. Glass or the hard plastic material were falling off in little bits and the foam balls were also spilling out. I requested a replacement, so will update my review if/when I receive it.Edit: I returned the broken set got the new set and they are uncracked.
