Q: What’s the point in having a ring doorbell if they took away everything I used to be able to do now they want me to pay?

I personally don't see the point any longer.....for this reason plus the fact that mine doesn't pick up a LOT of activity that is clearly inside its motion zone. Today it completely missed a pic-up truck & trailer plus 3 workers cleaning the swale drains in front of my house. It basically seems to be pretty much useless.

Q: Can I have more than one ring on my house for multiple doors?

Yes! I have 3. As I upgraded, I moved them around. My Ring 3 is on the front, Ring 2 is on the back, and my original ring is now out on the garage side door (I just use the camera for security). I did have to get a wifi extender ($30) because of the wide range, but it works great otherwise!

Q: Do I need to subscribe to the Ring Service in order to use the product?

Yes. After trial you need to be subscribed. Plans for one device is $3.00 every month and $10.00 for unlimited devices.

Q: Can I install on my storm door? The trim around the main door is not wide enough for the doorbell.
