Some reason, Fort Worth TX has been inundated with small brown moths and I had to do something to kill the little bas_____! So, I was determined to purchase an old fashioned fly swatter on Amazon.com. While looking I found this Zapper.I put it in my ‘Cart’ but hesitated about actually making the purchase. But I had to do something. So I said ‘Yes’ and ordered and it arrived the next day.What can I say but this ‘Bug Zapper Racquet is great. If any insect flies around my head, I say to it to say its final prayers because if it meets the Racquet it will die instantly. It’s fairly lightweight, easy to use but pressing a button on the handle and works equally as well for right handlers as for lefties.The only bug it doesn’t kill easily is small gnats—unless the Zapper’s strings hit the gnat exactly on target. Otherwise, the gnat will simply fly right through the Zapper’s killer wires that carry the electric pulse.By the way, I will warn you to not touch the wires with the button depressed as you will get a very nasty shock. No it won’t hurt you but you will learn that it is working;.It is just fun to play with and by ‘play with’ I mean it fun chasing small flying insects as they meet their doom.

So I had it for a few days now and one thing I know this is at first it was zap the Flies like at one or two swings but after that it won't zap anymore. Even if I hit the Flies which sucks cuz I know I had a bunch of flies but the zapper dish didn't go off. Is it worth the $8 I pay for it's whatever, it gets the job done until I buy a better one. If you want to spend that much I say this one is okay but it's worth spending a few more dollars getting a better one.

Makes it fun to hunt mosquitoes and Flys. Which bug me. If you hit one it just kills them right away. Also great for wasps that occasionally make their way indoors.

We have several carpenter bees that fly around our back porch area... As well as mosquitos and flies. This bug zapper has been amazing with keeping them from bothering us while having quality time with family and friends.

The only reason I bought this "fly swatter" was because Lowe's was out of the regular $2 dollar fly swatters. Trying to use this to kill flies is like playing tennis with a ping pong ball. You can't use it like a regular swatter or you'd end up breaking it. You really have to be fast to swat a fly and with this contraption you can't be fast enough. I've had it for a few weeks and only once have I heard the BUZZ of a direct hit but I couldn't find his body. I did find a dead fly on the bathroom floor the next morning so maybe I gave him a bit of a shock but who know? Flies don't have a long lifespan to begin with. You would probably have more success with a real old fashioned fly swatter than this electrified version. But, it is fun trying to outwit a fly. Good luck.

I really like the idea and concept ; very lightweight and easy to use BUT. It is not enough to kill them so it’s basically an expensive flyswatter. Maybe because it just runs off of 2 batteries is why it’s not enough; I even bought Duracell max batteries . You just have to be careful you may just swat enough to make mad and then it comes after you. Honest reviews as always !

Compré el producto para las moscas, el problema es que la malla tiene orificios muy pequeños que al final eso es lo que nos protegue de una descarga, pero las moscas no pasan por esos orificios por lo tanto no las puedes electrocutar, al momento no me ha servido de mucho.

I bought this fly-killing bat a year ago, and it's still going strong. Perfect for a household with a kid who's afraid of spiders and flies. Very satisfying solution.

Early days but good. Thrilled with the number of bluebottles I have cremated. Best to approach them when they're off their guard on a window pane.

Tuer les mouches en plein vol relève de l'exploit, parfois il est possible d'en coincer une entre la raquette et la vitre, et avec de la patience, elle se "grille"...les moucherons sont des victimes plus dociles! Quant aux moustiques, pas encore expérimenté...

Ive had cheeper models before and the manufacturing has always been poor, this one however is pretty sturdy and works a treat
