If you're serious about gaming, this mouse is a must-have!

The ROCCAT Kone Pro is hands down one of the best gaming mice I’ve used! It’s super lightweight, incredibly responsive, and the ergonomic shape fits perfectly in my hand during long gaming sessions. The Titan Optical switches are smooth and fast, and the RGB lighting adds a great aesthetic without being over the top. I’ve noticed a real improvement in my aim and reaction time.

Look around because the ones who can't afford a $200.00 keyboard this is a great choice

So, for the money, this is great, but it is slow when it comes to using the mouse.

Great mouse except finding the software

I have the wireless version and needed an extra one for my little brother and they love itIt is ergonomic so it fits your hand nicely if comfort is what you needPretty well balanced even if its toward 70gsHave had it for around 2 years and both of mine are still holding strongAs a everyday gamer this mouse is greatOnly issue I have with it is its software. Maybe im not looking well enough but downloading the software to customize this mouse seems to be hard to find, atleast for me.

Great Mouse

The Kone Pro Air is a great mouse. I upgraded from the wired Kone Pure Ultra. The Pro Air retains a very similar ergo shape with the thumb groove on the side, the large side buttons, and the superb mouse wheel.Since the shape was so similar, adapting was pretty easy, and the best part is that I'm no longer fighting the wire.In a lot of mouse or peripheral reviews in general, the writer will say something like "Will this thing make you a better player? No!"However, in the case of the Kone Pro Air, I do think it has made me better. I just got out of a Modern Warfare 3 2-hour session of Shipment/Rust and I can perceptibly feel that my tracking and flicking has gotten faster, smoother, and more accurate. You really don't understand how much a mouse wire can bog you down until you go without one for a few weeks. And I had been using a mouse bungee too. I held out on buying a wireless mouse because I was always skeptical of latency, but this mouse is IMMEDIATE over a 2.4ghz WiFi network.Lighting is a little understated as it only shows up under the two main mouse buttons instead of around the whole mouse (like many Roccat mice), but it looks good.Only couple caveats I'll mention here are that Swarm is pretty buggy and the initial pairing process was a little cumbersome. Swarm will show the mouse charged to 100% and display "4 hours remaining." There is also no way to stop the mouse from turning the RGB off after a minute of it being idle (I made sure to turn power saving mode off). And when I got the mouse I had to do a little 20 minute song and dance or plugging the mouse in, hitting the pair button on the dongle, unplugging it, etc. Eventually I got there and I've zero problems since (and I use a KVM switch), but I thought that was worth mentioning. The Owl Eye sensor is spot on and the PTFE feet glide super smoothly over my Skypad 3.0 (glass mousepad). Roccat also includes a spare set of feet, which I thought was a nice touch.Overall, I am very pleased. If you have tried other Kone mice and want to make the jump to wireless, you should be very happy with the Kone Pro Air.

ROCCAT RMA Process is Trash, Along With Their Product Quality

I owned the KoneXTD and it was an amazing mouse. After many many years and many hours of intense gaming, the cord around where it entered the mouse housing finally started to give intermittent connectivity. Since the mouse was well out of warranty, I decided it was time for an upgrade.I own several other Roccat products that I purchased many years ago and all of them were high quality so I didn't even bother looking beyond the star rating on Amazon before purchasing their latest and greatest Kone mouse, the Kone AIMO Remastered.Although lighter than I normally like, the mouse felt familiar at first and the new software seemed good. I started using it in regular gaming sessions and for work. After a few hours I started to notice that my scroll wheel was not working properly. I assumed it was something with the new software, so I began tweaking it. It only got worse. Scrolling down would sometimes scroll up, not register at all, or skip over scrolls. The precision of the wheel deteriorated the more I used it, and I finally sought out more information on the internet.I was then introduced to the PLETHORA of other users who have had this issue. Roccat's own subreddit is full of stories about this issue. This mouse apparently is shipping with a bad sensor that makes the scroll wheel (at best) unreliable or (at worst) completely unusable. As someone who works (and plays) from home, not having a reliable scroll wheel is not an option.I contacted Roccat, having this be the first time I've dealt with their customer service since all of their products in the past have not needed RMA. After contacting customer service they sent me instructions on how to process my RMA.This was the beginning of the end for my dealing with Roccat as a company. The absolutely INSANE process for receiving an RMA from Roccat requires you to CUT THE CORD of your mostly functioning device, leaving you without a device, and for you to then send them a picture of the cut cord and mouse, before they will process your RMA.I thought it was a joke at first, but the first customer service person I was messaging with said that this is because they want to get me my replacement as quickly as possible, and that it was just to avoid the delay in the mail system of me having to send them my device. When I said that I didn't mind the delay, and requested that I just send back my faulty mouse for repair, instead of destroying a perfectly working device that has one small issue, I was then informed by another customer service person that it really has nothing to do with getting me a replacement in a timely manner, and everything to do with fraud protection and trying to prevent Roccat from losing a few dollars because someone might try to get a replacement on a working device. They don't want the mouse back, they don't want to repair it. They just want to send you a new mouse that will, most likely, still have this exact same problem since it is a MANUFACTURER DEFECT, not a one-ff, random faulty sensor. They don't care about their customers or their products it seems, anymore. There are hundreds of people who I have read about online having this same exact problem and RMA process. Many have received their replacement only to find that the sensor on the scroll wheel is still faulty. Many have RMA'd several times and each time the scroll wheel is bad, with no end in sight. At this time, I am not convinced that Roccat is a trustworthy company anymore. I would recommend that EVERYONE stay away from their products until such time as they start prioritizing their product quality again. Also, the amount of waste they are creating by having their customers DESTROY mostly working products so they can just send them another broken device and start the whole process over again is DISGUSTING and in my opinion is enough to keep me from EVER buying another one of their products again in the future unless this practice is changed.Roccat has lost a 10+ year customer due to their poor product quality and their complete lack of a normal RMA process, along with their completely asinine "destroy your purchase before RMA" method of replacement.Shame on Roccat and shame on anyone who supports this sad excuse for "customer service". What a wasteful, trash thing they are doing. They don't deserve your money or time.
