This item has stopped loss of power at sudden acceleration. So far so good after one month. Hoping this will continue for years to come.

Said that it works with Mitsubishi Montero Sport 98, but it is only partial true. It may work with the Montero Sport with 2.4l 4 cylinder engines, but on the 3.0l 6 cylinder engines, it runs lean and causes sluggish acceleration and poor fuel economy. Correct part for Montero Sport with 3.0l engine is MD334011. For some reasons. that part is 3 times more expensive than this but the truck ran like it was before. I bought it during the pandemic and only tested it running around the neighborhood and the problem didn't reveal itself until I returned to work and did serious driving. By that time, it was already 3 months past the return deadline.

This MAF sensor is not designed correctly. It may help you out for a week or so until you get a better MAF sensor but it causes the car to run very lean, triggering several codes related to running lean.It’s directly related to the MAF sensor. After receiving a OEM MAF sensor, I ran a test and verified three times that this sensor is not adequately adjusting to measure the air flow and causing the engine to run lean. If you run the car for too long like this, it will start to damage other components.
