It melts off all my makeup — even waterproof mascara — without leaving any greasy residue. My skin feels clean, soft, and hydrated after every use.I love how gentle it is, even around the eyes, and a little goes a long way. It’s affordable, fragrance-free, and just as effective as some high-end balms I’ve tried.

*****UPDATE 07\10\25 ***** I used it to remove makeup and it worked great! I purposely didn't wash my face before trying the gel and it removed it completely, even my mascara. It left no residue, and I let it sit on my skin for about 5 minutes to see if it would make my skin softer. It did. I This stuff is WOW! didn't even have to use moisturizer after washing it off. This stuff is totally WOW!!!!*****ORIGINAL REVIEW *****All I can say is WOW!!! I got this yesterday and tried it out on a bare face. The directions say to use a dime sized amount of the gel but that was way too much! You will definitely have to try and gauge the correct amount to get results. The gel melts into an oil, and it It left my skin soft and smooth all night, it rinsed off clean with no residue on my skin. Once I use it to remove makeup, I'll update the review, but so far, it is a 5 star product.I'm not sure how long the bigger size will last, but when it is time, I will be getting more of this.

I haven’t tried a lot of high-end eye make up removers but I have tried the pads and I find that they don’t get mascara and eyeshadow off. This works like a dream. As other reviewers have posted, it literally melts the makeup right off your face. I primarily used it on my eyes to get mascara and eyeshadow off. I haven’t experienced blurriness, tingling, or any adverse effects to my eyes. I’d also don’t find it has a scent.I haven’t tried it on my face yet because I have other cleanser that works very well but when that cleanser runs out, I will try it on my face. I think it’s an excellent value for the money and the jar is quite large in my opinion. I can see it lasting a few months if you don’t wear make up every day. It will definitely be on my reorder list when I finally run out. Highly recommend for the efficacy and the price.

This is an awesome makeup remover. Cuts through all makeup and heavy duty mascara. There is no scent leaves your skin soft and clean. It’s Not comparible to the Elemis balm it’s better rinses off absolutely clean and costs a lot less. Non drying great product!

I would definitely say this is really good for somebody who wants to double cleanse or who wears light makeup and when I mean light makeup I mean like no powder or anything like that, now don't get me wrong does it take my makeup off yes it does even some waterproof makeup it does take off a little bit but after I used it and was trying to put a toner pad on my face and there was still some residue of makeup left on my face which I didn't like so keep that in mind if you like wearing more high coverage makeup but it does not make your skin dry it makes your skin quite soft actually it is really good for what the price is like a $10 is a complete steal and it's pretty good for people who have sensitive skin I have a dry & sensitive skin and it doesn't have a scent to it.

This is by far the best makeup remover I’ve used! It really does melt the makeup away (even mascara), and without a lot of scrubbing and pulling on the fragile eye area. A small amount goes a long way, so one container lasts me a couple of months. It comes out thick but quickly melts with body temp. My skin is soft and smooth after I use it too. I’d highly recommend!

Stop using those oil based eye makeup removers. They are trash. This cleansing balm, is next level. I'm on my second container of this stuff and it quite literally just melts the makeup off your face. And a little goes a long way, so it took me months to get through one container of this. Elf also scores really well on Yuka for their ingredients. For a product that cleans well, moisturizes, and leaves your skin feeling smooth, all for the price. Why on earth would you use anything else?
