Lily Sugar'n Cream Cotton Cone Yarn, 14 oz, Soft Ecru, 1 Cone

Best prices available if you knit a lot of dishcloths. Plus, I never find knots in these skeins -- much better than the small skeins available in craft stores. But you'd better like the color because there are lots of yards on one of these cones! Plus, the cones are good to donate to the local school for arts and crafts.

I’ve been using sugar and cream for a long time, it’s Great for dish CLOTHS. I ordered this CONE because the price was so good. It’s great yarn washes nicely, but don’t put it in the dryer.

Pretty off white color. Love it.

I only use this brand for my crocheted French market bags to sell at my craft shows.

Wonderful fall color

This is the first time I've used 100% cotton yarn, so I'm not sure if the characteristics of the yarn is specific to this brand or not. The yarn has 0 elasticity at all. It doesn't stretch, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, so there was a slight curve until I got used to working with it.First thing I noticed, and this is completely accidental, is that when I worked the yarn up it created a neat diamond pattern. Another thing is that the yarn tends to unravel as I work with it. I'm constantly catching individual threads of the yarn instead of the entire thing. No matter the tension I use, it will unravel and I keep having to redo stitches.I'm using the moss stitch so it drapes well and it's holding it's shape overall.
