The Fascinating Bug Book for Kids: 500 Startling Facts! (Fascinating Facts)

I really love the quality of this book for using in my speech groups. I often need short things for kids to read as I listen to their progress on their speech sounds, and I like having interesting things for them to read. It's much easier to get them to do their best if they have interesting subjects to read and cool pictures to look at. Every kid would rather read about dung beetles or fire ants than boring curriculum passages.Also great if you just have a kid that loves bugs!

My grandchildren love the photos and I love the information about each bug. It's a easy book to teach them (ages 6yr and almost 3 yr old twins) about specific functions of the bugs. Definitely child friendly!

I purchased this as a reward for my 7yo son and he absolutely loved it. We have really enjoyed reading this together. The content is awesome, it's sectioned out by color and has full color pages with a ton of information. The quality is impressive and there is a ton to look at. Definitely not a book that will get looked at once and put down and forgotten!

Now known as the “long book of bugs,” both my pre-school great nephews love this book and can appreciate it more and more as they grow. Great pictures and facts. Fun to look at together.

My child loves this book and it has taught him a lot. My only critique is that the facts aren't always clearly aligned with the photos. But I highly recommend it!

I bought three of these books for my 6year old grandson. The Animal book, Ocean book and Bug book. They are all great with lots of real photos and fascinating facts.The reason I gave only 4 stars was because the Bug book was not offered in hardcover. The paperback will wear much faster. I wanted these to last him his childhood.

My son loves this book. When he finds a bug, he looks it up and reads about it. Kids love bugs.

The young person receiving this loves studying the pictures and is anxious to learn to read the words.
