Book delivered on time and in promised “good” condition.

I am not a very good baker, but Dorie Greenspan is so far the only author that every recipe comes out perfect and exactly the same every time I tried. I love the way she combines nuts, spices, and sugar, it is something I would never dare to try, but the baked good is so simple and wonderful in taste. I will get more of her books, and more of this book as present for friends.

This is a beautiful book written by a well respected baker, i.e., Dorie Greenspan. My father had collected several of her recipes that were published in The Parade Sunday section of the paper, called 1-2-3-. I thought he might enjoy this cookbook so I ordered it. Hhhmmmmm....the recipes definitely do not suit him as they aren't all that simple...more for an advanced baker. My Dad is just starting out with baking and I didn't want to discourage him with this cookbook. So, I added it to my collection but I probably won't keep the book...I'll pass it on to my best friend who is a semi-pro in the baking department.

BOOK PRETTY BEAT UP AND THERE ARE ONLY A HANDFUL OF PICTURES.....I HAVE OTHER COOKBOOKS FROM DORIE GREENSPAN AND I SUPPOSE I EXPECTED NOT ONLY DELICIOUSNESS BUT AN EDUCATION AS WELL -- A HALLMARK OF DORIES BOOKS....BUT NOT THIS ONE........ILL PROBABLY DONATE OR YARD SALE THIS ONE AND HANG ON TO THE OTHERS!

Recipes for beautiful baked goods, nicely presented. Her style is mor complicated than I have time for these days. Sorry about that!

Dorie's books are awesome and I enjoy her stories about the recipes as well as trying them out for myself. Keep us the bood work of supplying used books!

Doris Greenspan serves up the most yummy treats. Her books are great for presenting recipes that are simple to make and have easy to find ingrediants. If you hunger for she-she foo-foo deserts that your cat or dog would wonder about eating then Dorie is not for you. But that's alright, it means the rest of us will have more to eat.
