[WAS] a good scale, until after changing the 4AAA batteries
[2019/06/18] The Fit2Live (FT-8029) had been a great, reliable, consistent scale. After purchased in Dec 2017, it arrived and my GF at the time changed it from metric/kilograms to pounds; seems she used the Fit2Live app on an old phone which has since been replaced. I routinely use the scale to track my weight and my progress in weight loss. A couple of days ago, the scale reported "Lo" instead of my weight. Replaced the 4 AAA batteries with brand new ones. Scale now reports weight in Kg. The instructions I've found on their website indicated there is a magical switch in the battery compartment. Nope! Other instructions on their website indicate using the app (which REQUIRES an email address and signup confirmation PRIOR to being able to reset the scale. However, the app NEVER connects to the scale. I've replaced the batteries a second time as part of troubleshooting. I've removed and reinstalled the app. Bluetooth with my phone seamlessly connects to numerous other devices, including my car without issue. My Samsung Galaxy Note 9 can never connect to this scale via bluetooth, nor through the Fit2Live app. The second time installing the app, it doesn't recognize the userID/password I had JUST created and used previously. Then, after the 'tutorial' it simply shows "Loading' on the main screen, with no end in sight to the 'loading'. I 'back' out of the app and start it again... no "Loading" message this time. I step on the scale, hit the 'bluetooth' connect button in the upper right corner of the app. The pop-up message says to step on the scale and that once the scale results are blinking press the green connect button. BUT it NEVER EVER connects. The pop-up simply clears immediately with zero benefit or results. I just want my scale to report in pounds----does it really have to be THIS hard?????

I like it
The scale works well, though I’m not sure how accurate it is. My work gym had me stand on a state of the art measurement machine and their numbers were a good bit different that what I got on my scale. Take into account the leveling of where you set your scale and the time of day you use it consistently. All in all it’s not bad for motivating you so long as you keep up with the app and your goals.

Works but frustrating.
The scale is set to kilograms and not pounds. The Bluetooth keeps dropping and resets the scale to lg even after you've paired it to your phone. The scale works just fine. Im just frustrated with converting kg-lbs every time.

Cheap
Like (not love) the scale, hate the watch. My scale takes forever to read, but once it does it USUALLY provides accurate information. I stood on it for 5 mins (no exaggeration) this morning as still as I could and the numbers kept jumping around. Sometimes it will only display weight and none of the other features listed. The watch itself isn't bad, but the band SUCKS. Every time my wrist barely rubs against something, or even barely touches it will come undone. Probably falls off at least 10 times a day, I'm surprised I haven't lost it yet. You get what you pay for!

The scale is good and fast
The scale is good and fast. Sometimes it is VEEEERY slow when pairing bluetooth. The day day band is HORRIBLE, if you are looking for calories burned count when working out it won't work. It only counts the steps. It also has the sleeping feature but when you get into the app it closes immediately. So... it is a watch that displays the steps you make in a day!

Great digital scale
The scale it self is great, it does what it is supposed to do as far as weighing. but the step tracker "watch" does not work and the Bluetooth method on the scale does not work. The app is horrible.

Stops working once batteries are replaced
1. Mobile app cannot connect to the scale2. Watch was delivered broken (which I never cared about because I use a Fitbit watch)3. After the batteries died and needed to be replaced, the scale does not show accurate weight and only shows weight in kgs (from reading other reviews, it looks like this is a common issue).
