Easy to read but very little detail. It will entertain a child for ten minutes then be forgotten about.

Fantastic book for little children.

Maybe because my child is too young (7) but the story, the names, the twists, the deceiving that all goes on was too much for him to follow (and I have to admit having to reread certain parts myself). The vocabulary was challenging also. I would say appropriate for a 9 or 10 year old

i bought this book for my daughter who is learning about ancient Egypt in school. she she enjoyed reading this book, she even wants to take it in to school to see if her teacher will read to the class.

Bought this book for my daughter when they did Egypt as a topic in year 2, and she loved reading it by herself. The story is fiction, based on history, and the way it's written it is interesting enough for her to get really engaged with it. Great book.
