Can one go down a hammer rabbit hole? Recent project required me to acquire a few new hammers, this one was high on the list. Owning a few Estwing Framing Hammers getting an American Made Rubber Mallet was a no brainer. The rubber heads give the perfect blow that needed to be delivered, I made quick progress. When I just swing it around I’m not to crazy about the thickness of the handle. Though in all honesty while working with it that wasn’t something noticeable. It’s well made, mostly likely it will last my lifetime, and I look forward to using it tomorrow and any given day after.

I was expecting Chinese quality, but this feels very solid and I learned it's manufactured in the U.S.

Nice hammer

I used this once so far for a brake job. It worked fine but both sides have worn down more than I had expected. I'd say it's just fine for DIY but not if you're using it professionally.

The two softer heads work well for reduced impact - especially useful if you need to take extra care to not mar the surface you are nailing into.
