Easy to install and setup. I ran this outlet from the garage. It comes with screws and plugs to install to the wall. As described. I had previously purchased the wifi version of this but I was having issue with the 2.4ghz connection so reverted to the good old fashion way of having a socket. Another thing i liked about this particular socket was the fact that the connections are colour coded earth live and neutral so pretty much fool proof.

This is a really well made product at a great price. Instructions are clear, if quite small print.Even the cardboard packaging is quality!One small point, as others have mentioned, the securing clips that cover the sockets are very tight, for a reason, and might prove tricky if you have arthritis or similar - not a problem for me as the plugs will be rarely removed and always on. I made things a little easier with a smear of silicon lubricant.Overall, highly recommended.

A great product I’ve used before on other jobs.

This is really just a fused spur held by 4 clips in a waterproof box with transparent/soft rubber window.One issue with this is that the box is rather big compared to a built-in unit solution so make sure you have space for it + any glands required. Make sure you buy those as ot does not come with any.The good news is that you if you needed, say, a RCD in such a box you can buy this + normal RCD and replace the fused spur with it -> much cheaper waterproof RCD! Incidentally, BG do sell such a thing! Perhaps you can use the fused spur elsewhere?
