I had bought one of these in the past and unfortunately left it on holiday. You may consider the price a little steep for a body brush, but you should also take into consideration that you are buying one that will last you at least 6 months without being destroyed, as opposed to other brands which I have used which usually start moulting their bristles within a few weeks. All I am saying is that this product is high quality for quite a reasonable price.One word of warning though, the bristles are made of cactus spikes, literally, it says so on the label of the brush. As a comparison, the bristles are as hard as those on a medium to hard toothbrush. I find that the brush exfoliates like no other and also helps minimize the visibility of cellulite. I will only ever buy these brushes.

How can a brush really help with circulation? This is the question I asked myself.It does! It smoothes the skin and reduces toxins. I use the brush every morning just before I step into the shower.The results are noticeable after 5 days or so. Skin is smooth and it speeds the exfoliation process.Elemis produce very good quality body care products. The bristle are strong and sturdy unlike the cheaper versions. Therefore, you may want to use gentler strokes on sensitive parts of the body. When it came to choosing a body brush, I looked no further. This product is worthy of consideration if you are searching for a good quality, long-lasting body brush.

I have been using an Elemis bodybrush for years and because of this I no longer suffer from prickly heat. Also my skin is lovely and smooth. Cannot rate this item high enough. Everybody should dry brush before they shower. This was the cheapest I could find. The first few times you use one you may find it a little rough but persevere, your reward will be getting rid of all the dead skin! I have tried many brushes but the Elemis one is the best and is not made from animal material as many others are.

too abrasive for me

I have contacted Amazon directly about this product, but have not received a reply.It doesn't seem genuine product, as the bristles keep falling out & it's very 'scratchy'.It might seem a big deal, but I have a dark, wood effect floor & every time I use this brush, I then have to spend a few minutes picking up the bristles which have fallen out!This does not seem a genuine Elemis product.

I deliberated whether to buy this brush but looking at the internet, it has such great reviews I decided to go for it. I like that the brush can be used with or without the handle, but make sure you secure it properly before using. I've been using it for about a week and my skin definitely feels softer (I'm hoping it might help with cellulite as well!). It feels very invigorating and although some reviewers said they initially felt the bristles are quite harsh, I didn't find that at all. I wasn't sure whether to pay £20 for a body brush but considering it should last me years I'm very glad I did. I would definitely recommend.

this arrived quickly and has done a really nice job of smoothing and softening my skin, left a few red marks that were quite painful as the bristles are very hard and sharp. I suppose the skin gets used to this after a while?

I was a bit nervous of a cactus spine skin brush, but as I really didn't want a hog hair one for ethical reasons, I bought this one.It is amazing to use and I can't wait for my daily shower in the mornings so that I can brush myself with this! It is invigorating, and my skin looks and feels so much better.If you are considering a dry skin brush, this is worth the extra money.
