If it didn't smell so bad i would have given this 5 stars. It's pretty, the price is great, and it looks expensive....BUT it smells really bad. Bought to wear with an outfit for an October wedding and i am hoping to keep it. It's airing out in my garage and since the wedding will be an outdoor event I am hoping that, in time, the smell will disappear.Update: This has been airing out in my garage for a few days. I have been spraying it with Lysol several times a day and it smells a better. There's still an underlying unpleasant odor but I am hoping it continues to dissipate. It's just such a pretty belt and worth the effort to (hopefully) get rid of the awful smell. I'm just hoping that the Lysol isn't masking the unpleasant odor.This is another update. The smell is nearly gone. Love the belt and I'm happy I kept it. I sprayed it with Lysol a few times a day for about a week or so, and then just let it be. I wasn't sure it was working but once i left it alone to air out the Lysol smell dissipated and only a faint scent was left. Now what I think I'm smelling is just the residue of the Lysol scent. Plan to wear this to an outdoor wedding in October and I think it will be just fine.October 13 2021: It's been a month since i ordered this. It was for an outfit I planned to wear to a wedding this past week-end. Unfortunately, it still smells and i didn't get to use it for the wedding. I kept it because it's so cute.........Maybe next year i'll be able to wear it. I'll put it away for the winter someplace away from my clothing. Not sorry i kept it because the price was so cheap, the quality was nice, and i have hope the smell will dissipate someday. Maybe I'll even try to wash it in some soapy water.

I was invited to a 50s themed party and didn't want to spend a lot to dress to the theme. With this bow, I turned a dressed I already had into period attire.I'm not skinny so I feared it might not fit, but the size was perfect; It was comfortable enough that I forgot I was wearing it; and it saved me the cost of a new dress. Very successful.

I get so many compliments on this belt! It's versatile, looks great with work-wear and adds a fun element to your casual style. The band of the belt has great stretch to it. I've had my belt for almost a year and have worn it many times. I'm happy to report, I've had zero issues with it and the quality is great. I will say, because the band of the belt is wider than a standard belt, it's best worn higher up on the waist line over a dress or with high waisted slacks, pants, & skirts. The belt does not fit through "standard" blue jean belt loops and may slide up if worn lower on the waist line without belt loops to keep the belt securely in place. For reference: the width of the band is 2 & 1/4 inches. The belt is not adjustable so make sure you measure carefully. It snaps closed with two sturdy snap button on the backside of the bow.

Amazing!!!! I haven't worn a dress since I became chronically ill. My son's graduation is coming up and I want to feel pretty and not look like a busted can of biscuits, being I gained weight. So this bow belt, I was a little on the fence about it because all the smell reviews....but I received mine and it smelt like the elastic and leather piece...nothing horrid it just smelt new. Nothing a little disinfectant spray couldn't handle. But it was a perfect fit. I got the large. It worked so well with the dress my husband picked out. I'm extremely happy with the purchase and in the near future will be buyiny the red.
