Plunge Saw
I love this sweet little saw. I'm working on my stairs and found this saw is perfect for cutting off the round noses of the stairs. It doesn't get right up to the wall but gets close. Easy to handle and has a nice weight. Made very well, too. It has a reactive safety mechanism that actually works well when you pull back the safety switch. It hooks up to a shop vac and helps keep the cutting area cleaner. It came with 2 each metal, wood, tile blades. I am using the wood blade now and it seems like the blade is still sharp after many cuts. Doesn't bulk and hasn't gotten stuck. I had to cut some 1/4 inch strips of 3/4 inch plywood and it was safe, easy and perfect. The laser light is great to have, too. It was easier to cut the strips with this saw than set up my table saw. Totally impressed! An easy tool to love! Can't wait to try the other blades as I tiley stairs and install the wrought iron stair spindles. The only issue is the manual is a little weak and doesn't include the parts list and the diagram doesn't display all the included items.

Powerfull tool!
First, this tool is only for people who know what they are doing! The instruction manual is not very detailed, and most precautions topics are too much, which is disappointing. Still, anyway, I am only recommending it to people with previous experience! It is well made, with a good set of tools included, and can help you a lot when you need it. Recommended!

Very flimsy and lightweight
This unit came in a box that had been opened and resealed so many times it needed a zipper. Obviously previous purchasers concluded as I did that this unit was not ready for prime time. It reminded me of a toy that you might give to your child so they could “play shop” while you worked. It also didn’t seem safe. No retractable guard and the trigger that lifted the platform to control the blade depth did not lock in place properly. All and all pretty shoddy construction.

Terrible instructions
The instructions that came with the saw did notexplain clearly how to assemble and adjust blade depth. It also totally ignored what some of the parts were for (ie the laser light button and the laser light). There was NO mention of either of them. Plus there was an extra piece in the bag that I assumed was to be attached to the saw but there was with no explanation what it was for. AND, there was a threaded nut that obviously didn’t fit anywhere on the saw. WTH

Powerful and Convenient. When Will I Need a Bigger Saw? Not Often.
The media could not be loaded. This is a nice tool and has more than enough power for it's intended use. Sometimes a job requires a corded tool and this is a nice one to have. Much more lightweight than a circular saw, comes with a convenient case and extra blades. In my video I'm cutting house siding and this thing mows right through it without any issues. Keep in mind I'm one handing the cut (which is dangerous) but wanted to provide an idea of the power this thing has - plenty. Some comments in reference to the video.1) I point to a button on the right side of the unit. This button locks the blade so you can loosen/tighten the nut attaching the blade.2) I show the depth stop. This is a plastic piece and the markings are a sticker. This is really my only nit, the sticker - which if you look close is peeling off. But since I usually measure depth with a tape measure I'm not going to ding it.3) There is a little switch I flip back that's just in front of the on/off switch. This little switch is what unlocks the base and allows the blade to be exposed. If you don't pull back on this little switch the base will not allow the blade to be exposed. It's a nice safety feature.4) You have to flip back that little switch I noted above -AND- press the trigger to operate the saw. It works well. One caution when you first attach the blade. There is a bolt that you unscrew first. Then you need to be sure to remove the washer as well. If you don't the blade won't fit correctly. BE SURE TO REMOVE THE BLADE WASHER WHEN YOU FIRST INSTALL THE BLADE. The part sequence is 1-saw body, 2-blade, 3-blade washer, 4-nut.Oh, I didn't show the laser but it works as you'd expect. The laser requires 2 button cell batteries which are supplied. Tool to remove the blade is also supplied and held in a carrier on the cord up by the unit. As you can see in the video this also comes with a metal guide that is easy to operate. One plastic piece supplied that I'm clueless what's it's used for. It bolts to the base of the unit and seems like it may be some kind of guide. Have no idea - doubt I'll ever use it.This adds a capability to my tool arsenal I wish I had for a long time. I can recommend.
