This mat has opened up a new avenue of pain relief and relaxation for me. It’s true: the first time is definitely uncomfortable. I was kind of wondering what I got myself into. But five minutes in, the most relaxing wave of warmth rolled through my body. It was almost like having a heating pad on low. The second five minutes, the sensation of warmth and focus increased. Pain changed to complete relief. It’s so hard to explain; you have to try it for yourself. I could have fallen asleep I was in such a calm state. It’s almost like the sensation of the spikes is enough stimulation to keep your brain from thinking about anything at all. The longest I’ve used it is 20 munutes and that’s enough to relax my body, ease aches and pains, and really get me ready to sleep.

I blindly tried 4 top rated mats and this was the winner! I got the complete option with the extra mat. This one hit all the marks, perfect spikes to feel the benefits of acupuncture, well-made with high quality materials (fabric and plastic spikes,) and supportive pillow for holding neck in correct alignment. In fact, this was the nicest pillow of the 4. It has perfect density to keep everything aligned and in place for the spikes to go to work. I work in front of a computer a day and this was much appreciated. I use the smaller mat to sit on/off at my desk when my legs feel restless. It's amazing! Now sure how managed as long as I did without an acupuncture mat.

I love these. The convienence of accupressure without having to make an appointment with a specialist and being able to do it in the comfort of my home is fantastic.

I wanted a long mat to cover much of my body. This is perfect. The small one is great when I am spot treating. I just passed kidney stones and used it on my flank area. The quality is fabulous. The spikes are hard and sharp. The neck pillow design is the best!

This was a Christmas gift for my boss and he seemed very enthusiastic about it and said he had to stop going to an accupunturist....so this was perfect because he can do it at home and take it with him when he travels, especially since it has a carrying bag. There is also an incredibly helpful informational pamphlet that helps you understand accupressure and all the ways you can use the mat and that it will benefit you. I have some that aren't near as fancy and I love mine, so I can only imagine how much better this one is.
