Disney's The Little Mermaid (Live Action 2023) [DVD]

Love this film, great for a family film night.

Very enjoyable film.

This is one of the more faithful updates of a Disney classic in recent times. All the songs are present from the original animated version as well as a couple of new additions. There are, however, a couple of character changes. Flounder, Ariel's fishy friend, isn't as cute and cuddly as the original and Scuttle, who was a seagull in the original, is now a gannet.The set pieces are still as vibrant as the original with some nice turns done by Xavier Bardem as King Triton and Melissa McCarthy as the evil sea witch Ursula. Yes, it is a long movie at over two hours long, but the time soon zooms by and you find yourself sings along to the songs like you did with the original. A good addition to once's Disney collection.

Great product and quick delivery. However my blu ray and 4k purchases will be from HMV from now on until Trump is no longer US president. Boycotting USA where I can.

The Little Mermaid has always been one of my favourite original Disney movies, so it was nice to see this as a live action. I thought Halle’s voice was beautiful and the effects were good. My favourite had to be Melissa’s portrayal of Ursula, she did an excellent job!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, brilliant actor's and some surprises, one of my all-time favourites

Can't wait to watch it, but from looking at the cover it looks good to watch
