HMF 140-07 Case for Documents DIN A5, Document Box, 27 x 20,5 x 8 cm, Light Grey

This is a nice solid box that has plenty of room for A4 documents, even if they are held in folders. It is easily lockable, and the catch is strong enough, but not sturdy- much like those on metal filing cabinets. The steel is reasonably thick (not too heavy), but I think that a large screwdriver and a some good heaves could probably bend it open, or bend and release the locking mechanism. It is definitely more solid than my 3 draw metal filing cabinet, but not a full document "safe". As far as I am concerned, it does its job and will keep any casual prying eyes out.This is exactly what I expected, and suits my needs perfectly, so I give it 5 stars.

Needed something to protect sharp objects in the kitchen and this fits perfectly in a kitchen drawer. So all the sharps are in the box in the drawer and we only have to open the box in the drawer. No extra units out on the counter or space taken up. Perfect solution.

Sturdy enough for what it is, it is not a safe but it will stop opportunistic threats.

Sturdy tin, very good

Ordered this a few days ago and it arrived quickly.Good size, fits A4 documents and due to its flat shape it can slide in most places. Two keys supplied with box. Easily lockable and secure. I would say the metal is thin and I would not suggest this for anything seriously valuable that someone could break in to get. However if it is to keep important documents together in one place and fire safe this is definitely a good buy and worth the money.

Perfect to put all my medication in. Keeping them safe away from my grandchildren.

This item arrived quickly and was well packaged and there was no damage in transit. The small lockable file is just what I wanted and it is reasonably robust but not too heavy. I need to keep documents secure at home, but didn't want an ugly filing cabinet - this file box will go into a drawer out of sight.

The size and security of this box is good. However, the key jammed in the lock and twisted slightly. Now it is impossible to unlock the box. I have the key number but no easy way I can find to order a replacement key. This is very disappointing as the documents are important AND if I have to go to a locksmith I expect the box will be ruined getting into it. I can find no address for the company.

Avevo necessità i installare una cassettina a muro per uso condominiale che permettesse la conservazione di documentazione tecnica di dispositivi installati nelle parti comuni e il ricovero sotto chiave di piccoli oggetti ad uso controllato. Dopo lungo cercare ho valutato che con la realizzazione di quattro forellini sulla schiena di questa cassetta potevo soddisfare l'obiettivo con minimo sforzo e massima convenienza. Per poco più di 20 euro (acquistata come "ottime condizioni" da Amazon Warehouse) ho comprato questo prodotto che si è rivelato di ottima fattura, sufficientemente robusto per lo mio scopo e facile da installare ed utilizzare. Consiglio.
