When used per the instructions and the picture, it does not help my Basil thumb arthritis pain, in fact, it makes it worse, but the simplicity and flexibility of the design, I found that if you play with it and adjusted it different and rapping in different ways, depending on where your pain is, which can be in various different sides of the joint each day, it becomes quite a useful brace and quite comfortable, so I gave it 4 stars, because it's very flexible in the ways you can use it... In other words, you don't have to use it just the way it is in the picture. I find tge material soft, user friendly and comfortable. Get creative for relief... 😌

Received this item quickly, and wore it for a short period of time before I realized that it was not the right brace for my Quervain's tenosynovitis. I chose it because it didn’t cover too much of my wrist (hot and sweaty!), but it is not stabilizing enough to help my thumb pain— it easily allows my thumb to go to the painful positions.Seller promptly refunded me for the purchase!

I love this support for my thumb. In fact, I went back and purchased another one because I was wearing the one I bought all day and wanted to switch off days. It doesn't look like much - but the support it provides is perfect and it doesn't make it look like I broke my hand!

I had trigger thumb surgery and when I returned to work and the amount of typing I am required to do made my thumb swell and hurt more. I found this on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It has helped me out tremendously.

I wanted support for my arthritic thumbs but hate having it cover my entire hand and wrist. This product offers soft support without the scratchiness and stiffness of most braces with minimal coverage of the hand. I got one for each hand. Perfect!
