I got this booklight together with the NEWZCLA book light so I could see the differences and pick the one that is best for me.Hands down, this one is so much better and the one to get.When you clip this Glocusent light which only has a small metal clip inside the book so the book can close reasonably well. When you clip the NEWZCLA light into the book, the large battery pack sits 'inside' the book. So if you close the book down (which I do right before I fall asleep), it leaves a very large gap which will damage the spine of the book. Please see the two photos to see the difference.Also, this Glocusent light has a separate color temp button and once you pick the color, it keeps the same color when you turn it back on. That's huge! You can turn on and off the light simply with its separate power button. In contrast, the NEWZCLA light uses a single button to turn on/off the light and to change the color temperature. So you have to keep hitting the button until you get the color you want and then hit the button repeatedly to turn it back off. That's a real pain.The light from the Glocusent light splashes across a wider angle across my book so I do not have to make any adjustments to read both pages. In contrast, the NEWZCLA light really only hits a single side of my book. So I have to move the light around to get to the other page before I turn the page. That's pretty frustrating.The Glocusent light also has a timer function for anyone who falls asleep on their book. It is not important to me, but it is a feature for some and the NEWZCLA light does not have it.All in all, this Glocusent light is the winner. It's a few dollars more, but so worth it.

Absolutely love. The different light settings are wonderful it has 5 different settings and a few different shades. I use my everywhere I go. It’s great for the night when I don’t want to disturb my partner!!!

Great book light that isnt annoyingly bright. When camping it doesn't bother my friends who are sleeping way too close to me, however provides the perfect amount of light to read at night. The battery life is awesome! It's perfect to carry around with me in my purse or backpack due to how light and compact it is, however sometimes it turns on (due to the buttons being pressed by the other contents in my purse or backpack) and it unfortunately drains the battery if I don't notice in time.EXCELLENT customer service provided by the company who makes this great book light. The warranty is awesome.

This is perfect. It's not big and bulky or small and flimsy. It's easy to adjust brightness and color of light. So far everything works as advertised. The clip slides easily onto the book, paperback or hardbound and stays firmly in place. The light illuminates the entire page. So far I love it.

This is a good adjustable reading light. I like the ways to adjust not only the light output, but the lights position as well. The head of the light extends by about 10mm, which is not a lot but enough for me. The head also swivels for more adjustability. It puts out good light which can go from about 3 k to about 6k, it appears to me. The buttons and build quality seem great. The only drawback to me is the charging, under the cap at the opposite end of the light is usb-a. For throwing in my bag, which everything else I use is usb-c, it throws a kink into things. But overall a good quality light for reading.

I love this little reading light! So many handy featuresa and very compact. The battery life lasts forever!

I love it! It has very handy features: brightness and color temp settings plus a timer. It's small and light weight. I would rather it had a USB-C charger port like my other devices, but it doesn't need frequent charging, so it's not a deal breaker.

Awesome light for reading at night or just a dark space.
