I bought a Seagate 5TB external hard drive for my Xbox series x console about 6/7 years ago. I bought a second Xbox x console and needed to buy a second external g]hard drive. After spending quite a few days looking for the right one I bought this 8TB external hard drive. I bought the same make because my first one is still working very well. This is easy to use, just plug it in and the Xbox series x recognises the hard drive and instantly requests to go through a formatting sequence. One completed you up and running to download all the games you need. I went for a larger 8TB hard drive because the size of the new games being made takes alit of memory. I recommend on the side of buying a larger memory rather than what you think you might need. Thus was you less likely deleting games until you need to download load later.This is a really good make and I know this will last just as long as my first one that’s still working very well. I would recommend this for any Xbox console owners. The price might be a hit high but you know you’re getting quality equipment. Don’t buy something on the smaller memory.

Well, does what it says. Stores all those ps games so you don't have to delete them and reinstall them for hours when you just want a quick blast of a game. Ps4 games easy play from the drive.Stupid to not have one.Half the price of wd

Does what it says but I prefer an ssd in the console to play any game installed on it so I gave it away to a family member instead.

Very, very good. It works perfectly. I want to point out that the storage SSD is a good way to store games. I didn’t know this until I tried to play Flight Simulator 2020 on the SSD, which didn’t work due to it being X/S supported, so I still have to play from my internal storage, but I THINK it will work if you get a Storage Expansion instead of an SSD and you should be able to download the addons for any game especially Flight Simulator if you want to download 1TB+ of content while playing on the storage expansion but don’t take MY word as LAW it is USER EXPERIENCE

So I purchased this after buying the Seagate usb hard drive. I bought it originally thinking it would allow me to store huge games (Black ops 6 and hogwarts legacy) and play them without taking up all my internal storage. Unfortunately when I purchased the usb hard drive, It did not allow me to run X and Series S games.I then did some more research and stumbled upon this expansion card. I’m annoyed now because I should have just skipped the hard dive and bought this one first.I am now able to store massive games like black ops 6 on to the expansion card, and play them through that, and still having over 50% storage on my internal. What that means for me is now I can have all the games I want downloaded and ready to play without moving anything around and having to delete games for cods massive updates.The price point is expensive, but for what it is, it is absolutely worth the money.If you’re like me and have multiple games on your Xbox or PlayStation, and get annoyed having to delete games or move things around for updates or new games, it’s worth it. I game a lot with my friends and solo, so I think if you’re an avid gamer, it is perfect.I plugged it in at the back and it started up instantly. Moved cod over first and now I have so much more storage, I’m now re installing everything I lost because of cod’s big updates. And room for new games I want to play too!You won’t regret this purchase if you’re gaming a lot.

As per reviews and this isn’t a failing of the drive but Sony restrictions this drive can play PS4 games on the PS5 but cannot play PS5 games from it. Fast transfers and good value for the money if you need that extra storage.

Was literally exactly what my Xbox needed and I wanted the best type of storage, it supports all of the Series X’s graphics and gaming features and is just as fast as internal SSD. I’m very happy
