A really good weed barrier.
A nice thin weed barrier, strong with good coverage. Bit puzzling when you get it as the pack is only 1 metre in height ......but ....... open it out and it is indeed 2 metres wide. Makes for a smaller pack for posting which is good. My garden was really overgrown with briers. So I cut it all down with a brush cutter. Rather than dig it all over ( rather lazy ) I am covering it all over with weed barrier and letting the roots rot away over the winter. Then - hopefully - it will all have turned to soil. Ready for planting in the spring.

Thick fabric
A good sturdy ground cover, easy to lay and cut, deep amount of gravel on top will hopefully stop the weeds coming through.
