the right combination of usb sata3 and RAID 0 makes this case a great purchase at the price,the ability to use a couple of cheap drives and achieve excellent speeds is great,wish they made a 4 bay version with the same spec.

I purchased the system and tried to install SSD's according to the instructions. I own 3 systems from another company that have the exact same instructions when it comes to set the raid mode you want. This system, was completely unresponsive showing no drives, even when you set it up as separate drives. Obviously I am returning it. Exterior quality seems OK, inside components quality (eg jumpers) seem very cheaply made. May be the unit I received was faulty, nevertheless I can not give the product I higher rating, as the system simply, does not work.

USB-C port arced when plugged in, which was very concerning!Wouldn’t configure the drives (2x 4TB SSDs) in any of the RAID modes, windows only showed two separate drives.Returned for refund.

I bought this enclosure because i have one from Yottamaster - generally the same(same chipset) but in different form factor. And it awesome. Easy to install, easy connect to system. No idea what happened with previous customer - probably he got faulty product. But main is reliable and fast. It a bit expensive, compared to others - but you got nice looking and working enclosure.
