The price is right
These are on the cheaper end of the holders I've used on my kayak, but they did the job and serve their purpose well. The price makes these good enough to purchase them, and if you end up losing one in the lake, like I recently did, I have no issue buying them again. Placing them on my kayak was easy enough. Drill a few holes where they'll be most useful to me and boom, done. Easy peasy. I didn't have any issues with the quality as I realize the price was right. They hold my expensive poles while I catch lake trout. Love it.

First time useing these today not even out here an hour went to pole my fish rod out of it the top came off the base and fell in the water and sank sad day

Doesn't stay together
Recently purchased this to use on our kayak. Unfortunately the bottom section that hooks to the kayak does not stay securely obtuse the top section that you put your pole in. First time using it, I unscrewed the bottom from my kayak and while holding onto the to piece, the bottom piece feel in the lake!! I tried to find somewhere on Amazon to write to the seller, but was unable to do so.

Fit great.
They fit great and work perfectly, the only thing I don't like is that they strip the threads really easily. Considering you can only tighten them by hand it's not very hard to do so.
