I recently upgraded my Steam Deck with this 1TB SSD, and I am seriously impressed by its performance. Right out of the box, it was easy to install, and the speed is absolutely incredible. The read speeds of up to 7,100 MB/s make loading games and transferring files a breeze. Everything feels snappy, and I can now install even more games without worrying about space – a huge win for a gaming handheld like the Steam Deck.The size of the SSD (M.2 2230) fits perfectly into devices like the Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, and even my MSI Claw. Despite its compact form factor, the performance is comparable to much larger SSDs, which is ideal for my needs. I haven’t experienced any slowdowns or issues with stability during intense gaming sessions.I also appreciate the fact that it is PCIe Gen4, offering superior data transfer speeds compared to older Gen3 models. Got this in the spring sale. Upgraded my 256 steam deck to 1 tb with no issues whatsoever. To save faffing about I used Balena Etcher (free) to clone the existing SSD to the Crucial mounted in a uGreen extenal SSD case. It was then a case of a straight SSD physical swap with no need to use recovery image etc. Steam Deck booted with all my installed games but now with 1tb of storage.Performance is great and the extra space is useful.

Excellent little SSD and was purchase to use in a tiny fanxiang M.2NVMe 230 hard drive enclosure I recently purchased. It’s not as quick as some of my bigger SSD’s I have but also quicker the some I have owned. So far very happy with my purchase.

Perfect. Installed in my steamdeck oled. Installation was easy, best to follow a guide. Just 12 odd screws, a couple of ribbon cables to unplug, then youre there. Performance seems better or the same, but obviously with more storage so now i can install way more on my deck.

Performs really well in the Steam Deck, and I have had no issues with it. Very easy to install, and having 2TB of storage space is brilliant.

I did a DiY install of a much more bigger capacity of SSD for my Steam Deck OLED. Based from its description, this is one of the fastest and affordable SSD cards that I can find here in Amazon. This fits and works perfectly with my device.Giving it 4 stars for now as the only drawback that I can see/find is that I'm hoping that it'll last a long time of use even though the endurance of this SSD is just only 440 TBW, as compared to other SSD brands which has higher number with regards to this matter. 👍

I installed this easy enough via a separate usb type-C enclosure to enable cloning of the original 250bg SSD.Then replacd the original SSD with this 2TB cloned SSD. Loads of space on it. I have kept the original SSD in the SSD enclosure as a backup drive just in case of failure or more storage.It does get quite warm but only when reading and writing very large files.
